You think it is winnable after 50 years of interdiction, and jailing? We have pissed away mega billions on the war on drugs. But if there is profit to be made, someone will provide drugs. How about providing help for those who want to get off drugs, instead of jailing them. This opioid epidemic was caused by over prescribing by doctors. Drug companies flooded the country with them. When they finally stopped providing, millions were addicted and dependent on them. When docs would not continue with them, they found heroine was a good substitute. So many live ruined
