The Kentucky Republican said Tuesday on the Senate floor, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.”

Nice of McConnell to wait until after five people were dead, 50 cops injured, and our hallowed Capitol trashed - rather than just stating the obvious two months ago.
