Nikita Khrushchev:

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright, but we'll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you'll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won't have to fight you. We'll so weaken your economy until you'll fall like overripe fruit into our hands."

No, Khrushchev did not say that. Nor would he have thought it. It makes no sense under his ideology. It is your ideology not his.

Khrushchev was a true believer. He believed communism was the answer, and that capitalism was self destructive. A little bit of socialism would stop capitalism from self destructing, so was the real danger in Khrushchev's mind.

How would Khrushchev have "fed us" socialism? What he did mean to feed us was consumer items through capitalism. He believed the USSR could use communism(modified by hyper competitiveness) to produce huge numbers of consumer goods, which we could not reject because we had capitalism. He literally said he would bury us in consumer goods.

That seemed silly; imagine the USSR producing huge numbers of good consumer goods; it is just not possible. Even the USSR did not believe it was possible, which is why they removed him. Only the Chinese communists thought it was possible.

Khrushchev is still honored as a great thinker in China, and China definitely has the success to prove that maybe he was onto something. But it was not what Hater claims.

Once again, Khrushchev did not say it. I refute that he even said it.
