That's pretty funny, "Fox and Friends" describes this supposed immigrant invasion headed this way, the President tweets it nearly at identically the same time, the right wing websites echo it, and now the big chiwawa regurgitates the same thing

This supposed armageddon consists of a thousand Central American immigrants coming here seeking asylum, it has been an annual event for years now intended to gain publicity over the refugees plight. But because it is Trump, and he has to energizer his base with all his recent blunders, it is now an invasion of illegals, funny, didn't bother him last year

I don't believe anyone is claiming the wall will stop 100% of the illegal border crossings. It will stop a lot though, not just as a stand alone, but it will slow crossers down making it easier for border control agents to intervene. It will also make it more difficult and expensive for the average would be illegal immigrant, thus acting as a deterrent to them even attempting to cross.
