Moral relativism

.

Obviously it's not universally immoral. To what do you attribute your inability to understand "subjective" vs. "objective"?
Do you think female genital emulation is immoral? If so, why?

...... We have now circled back to the question that you and @Into the Night have been ignoring since about September 25th.

It seems unlikely that I could, even if I wanted to, lie about "everyone".

FYI, I didn't make you agree with my statement.
Look, I explained to you that moral relativity is a respected theory. I gave you articles written by historians and professors of ethics. You keep lying about the issue.

Sure and for a very long time, the concept of genetic race was a respected theory as was the theory of the triune brain.

But, when opinions change because evidence to the contrary exists, why would you stick to an outdated theory "just because"?

Moral relativism is not outdated. I do not think you know what is means. I am sure you do not know.

Moral relativism is not outdated.
It is, as our previous discussion showed, there are actions that should be labeled as objectively immoral.
I do not think you know what is means. I am sure you do not know.
Oh, I'm quite certain I do and you already know I do because we've been discussing it for weeks.

By defaulting to what other people claim, you are doing the same thing as @IBDaMann and especially @Into the Night. They want to make a declaration, "Morality is subjective", and then stop the discussion.

You have no idea what it means. You show this over and over.
You falsely claim it is based on political ideology.

Nope. Liberals/progressive/leftists, because of their political views, are much more likely to subscribe to the concept of moral relativism, but they are not the source of it.

The right isn't any better. They believe the morality exists, but only because their sky wizard has woven it into the fabric of the universe.

You have no idea what moral relativity is. I suspect you do not have the intellectual capacity.
