Under the image is a picture of Ms Omar with the words “I am the proof you have forgotten”.

Top Democrat demands another apology from Rep. Ilhan Omar, accusing her of ‘a vile anti-Semitic slur’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) faced on Friday new accusations of making anti-Semitic remarks Friday, this time rebuked by a senior member of her party who says the House freshman’s words conjured a “vile anti-Semitic slur.”

Rep. Eliot L. Engel (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, demanded an apology over comments Omar made Wednesday, less than a month after she was condemned by bipartisan leadership for suggesting pro-Israel lobbying groups and Jewish politicians influence American politics.

Her comments came during a town hall in Washington while speaking about liberal issues. “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar said.

In a statement Friday, Eliot said he welcomed debate in Congress but that it was “unacceptable and deeply offensive to call into question the loyalty of fellow American citizens because of their political views, including support for the US-Israel relationship."

Of course I read it. Obviously you just glanced at it. Here: "Democratic state lawmaker, Mike Caputo, was enraged by the poster and wanted to get into the chamber to protest.

He admitted to kicking the door during an argument about the image and allegedly injured the security guard, who had to be taken to hospital." Dumb fuck Democrat had a hissy fit and hurt someone. That is his actions alone, no one elses.

You're ignoring the part where the GOP was promoting hatred against Omar. Caputo could have handled the situation better, but that doesn't negate what the Republicans were doing here.

First, no one has any idea who wrote or did that. Second, it is words. A grown man should know how to handle such things. Oh, wait a minute, we are talking a Democrat here. And to mention even Democrats are telling Omar to apologize, again, for anti jewish remarks. There might actually be some truth there.

I'll give the Republicans the benefit of the doubt that it was written by some troll who has nothing to do with the GOP. However, the GOP was using the poster. That's how they were promoting hatred against her.
