Mueller did not exonerate trump on obstruction

I don't get it. trump and his followers claim he's been "completely exonerated." Don't you guys want to see the report, so you can rub the noses of lefties in the "non-collusion and non-obstruction"?

Did you bother reading his post before posting this nonsense? Barr just stated he intends to release everything he is LEGALLY ALLOWED to release. What more do you want? Do you want him to violate the law?

It does not matter what Trump did. One may as well debate a Jehova's witness about Jebus. Trump is a cult figure.
So Trump is either destroyed by dems for his crimes or he is eliminated at the ballot box. No matter what happened, and I mean
absolutely anything damning in that report, they don't care, they will discount it, deny it and claim Trump is being framed by enemies.
Nevermind we let Repukes do the investigation.

They elected a clown. The GOP is a cult.

LMAO... 'tons of paperwork'.

Do you even pay attention to the stories before you babble on and on? Trump was given the questions and responded.

I am not a hypocrite... you are simply a moron.

1) AGAIN... Comey was head of the FBI... IT WAS NOT HIS PLACE TO MAKE THE CALL. That is up to the AG.
2) Comey didn't conclude the investigation before making his determination and alteration. Mueller concluded his investigation. Then turned it over to the AG, as he is supposed to do. The AG then, by LAW, is supposed to make sure no grand jury info, no national security info and no info about those who were not charged is released. That is the LAW. The LAW that the AG is sworn to uphold.

3) I have not seen the Mueller report. But the finding that there was no collusion/coordination with Russia should be the end of this fiasco. But you idiots are going to keep pretending that someone somewhere is hiding something no matter how much info you get.

"trump was given the questions and responded", how convenient. You mean his lawyers responded. trump was not grilled in person, like Hillary was. We all know why, because his lawyers knew trump would get angry and incriminate himself when the questions were pointed.

If you think thousands of pages info collected over Mueller's two-year investigation can be condensed into a four-page report, you are naive beyond belief. You're a hack and a moron.

Re: the "paperwork"... "when one of Secretary Clinton’s original personal servers was decommissioned in 2013, the e-mail software was removed. Doing that didn’t remove the e-mail content, but it was like removing the frame from a huge finished jigsaw puzzle and dumping the pieces on the floor. The effect was that millions of e-mail fragments end up unsorted in the server’s unused—or “slack”—space. We searched through all of it to see what was there, and what parts of the puzzle could be put back together."

And, he also wrote her exoneration letter before he ever interviewed her.

trump wasn't interviewed in person. Hillary was. Why is this so hard to understand?

I guess you're forgetting that Comey re-opened the email investigation just days before the 2016 election, and that effectively wiped out what he wrote months before.

We are not afraid of that. Barr has stated that is indeed what will be released. He stated clearly he intends to get it done by the 15th. Democrats then promptly demanded it by the 2nd. No matter what happens, the idiots on the left are going to continue pretending something redacted is 'the smoking gun' and that we need to see 'everything' before we can 'know for sure'!!!

You RWNJs should be just as eager to see the report as we are. Frankly, I don't understand why this is something to argue about. trump has you convinced that the report completely exonerates him and the way to know that is to see the report, with any sensitive info redacted.

IMO you guys know there is going to be plenty of info in that report that doesn't paint trump and his toadies in the best light, and that's why you're so defensive about it.

Good god you're stupid. Post 199: "trump should have no problem showing the report to the public with minimal redactions."

All should be for releasing the Mueller report. Dems want to know what is in it. The Repubs all know it totally exonerates his Daffiness. There should be nobody who wants to have it locked up. Let it out untouched except for grand jury testimony that may be problematic, It will prove Trump is as pure as the driven snow. We Dems are fighting against Repubs. We want Trump to clear himself. The report proves Trump is clean and the long nightmare would end. Then we all could become Trumplestilskins.

I'm wondering why the MSM isn't running "Barr is clearly obstructing justice" banners on the TV screen and all over the place

as usual with these renegades, flagrant violations of all known laws are being done in plain sight..............as Hitler might say "if the lie is sooo big...."

No proof yet. More and more Mueller lawyers are disputing Barr's "conclusions". Barr and Trump can keep lying until the report is released. Barr is trying to figure out how to redact what is bad and let out what is good. A 300 plus report can be gione through in a couple hours. He has a huge staff of lawyers. The only reason to spend weeks on it would be due to creative redaction.

Just like the Downing Street Memo, the facts were fixed around trump's desire to get rid of Comey and Rosenstein was used to give trump cover.

It was Rosenweasel who TOLD Trump to go ahead and fire Comey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look, I know you don't watch TV or read the links to all this that has been posted in this forum for 2 years, but geeeeeeeez louise!!!!!!!

I rarely watch TV news because all they deliver is soundbites. I want more in-depth explanations about serious topics than can be covered in 30 seconds on TV. So I read up on the Comey firing.

Trump publicly stated that he had already decided to fire Comey;[SUP][9][/SUP] it later emerged that he had written his own early draft of the termination letter,[SUP][10][/SUP] and had solicited the Rosenstein memo the day before citing it.[11]

Behind the scenes of Comey's epic firing: "The White House insisted the firing came amid questions about Comey's handling of a probe into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's email server. But that explanation was betrayed by Trump's letter, which didn't mention those concerns, focusing instead on the continuing inquiry into his campaign's Russia ties...

...multiple White House officials said Trump had been considering firing Comey for at least a week before he made Tuesday's decision. Indeed, Trump revealed his anger in a string of late-night messages on Twitter May 2, exactly a week before his final decision was made public.

"FBI Director Comey was the best thing that ever happened to Hillary Clinton in that he gave her a free pass for many bad deeds!" he wrote from the confines of his second-floor private residence at the White House. "The phony Trump/Russia story was an excuse used by the Democrats as justification for losing the election. Perhaps Trump just ran a great campaign?"

...The idea of firing Comey was closely held within the West Wing, these officials say, where the few aides who were aware of Trump's intentions barely discussed the topic among themselves. Among those looped in: Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who began fine-tuning their rationale for removing Comey from his post shortly after learning of Trump's intentions.

Mueller Has Early Draft of Trump Letter Giving Reasons for Firing Comey

Sept. 1, 2017

WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, has obtained a letter drafted by President Trump and a top political aide that offered an unvarnished view of Mr. Trump’s thinking in the days before the president fired the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey.

The circumstances and reasons for the firing are believed to be a significant element of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, which includes whether Mr. Trump obstructed justice by firing Mr. Comey.

The letter, drafted in May, was met with opposition from Donald F. McGahn II, the White House counsel, who believed that its angry, meandering tone was problematic, according to interviews with a dozen administration officials and others briefed on the matter. Among Mr. McGahn’s concerns were references to private conversations the president had with Mr. Comey, including times when the F.B.I. director told Mr. Trump he was not under investigation in the F.B.I.’s continuing Russia inquiry.

Mr. McGahn successfully blocked the president from sending the letter — which Mr. Trump had composed with Stephen Miller, one of the president’s top political advisers — to Mr. Comey. But a copy was given to the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, who then drafted his own letter. Mr. Rosenstein’s letter was ultimately used as the Trump administration’s public rationale for Mr. Comey’s firing, which was that Mr. Comey had mishandled the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server."

[h=1]Inside Trump’s anger and impatience — and his sudden decision to fire Comey[/h]"Every time FBI Director James B. Comey appeared in public, an ever-watchful President Trump grew increasingly agitated that the topic was the one that he was most desperate to avoid: Russia.
Trump had long questioned Comey’s loyalty and judgment, and was infuriated by what he viewed as the director’s lack of action in recent weeks on leaks from within the federal government. By last weekend, he had made up his mind: Comey had to go.

At his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., Trump groused over Comey’s latest congressional testimony, which he thought was “strange,” and grew impatient with what he viewed as his sanctimony, according to White House officials. Comey, Trump figured, was using the Russia probe to become a martyr.

Back at work Monday morning in Washington, Trump told Vice President Pence and several senior aides — Reince Priebus, Stephen K. Bannon and Donald McGahn, among others — that he was ready to move on Comey. First, though, he wanted to talk with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, his trusted confidant, and Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, to whom Comey reported directly. Trump summoned the two of them to the White House for a meeting, according to a person close to the White House. The president already had decided to fire Comey, according to this person. But in the meeting, several White House officials said Trump gave Sessions and Rosenstein a directive: to explain in writing the case against Comey.

The pair quickly fulfilled the boss’s orders, and the next day Trump fired Comey — a breathtaking move that thrust a White House already accustomed to chaos into a new level of tumult, one that has legal as well as political consequences.

Rosenstein threatened to resign after the narrative emerging from the White House on Tuesday evening cast him as a prime mover of the decision to fire Comey and that the president acted only on his recommendation
, said the person close to the White House, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter."

So you admit that he "exonerated" her, prior to completing the investigation. :good4u:

yep... He could shoot someone, he could shoot one of them, & the MF would still vote for him....:palm:

That framed by enemies is the real scary part IMHO..

If he loses the election & starts whining about it he/they will blame THE DEEP STATE, HILLARY, fake news etc etc etc & they won't except it & don won't care if they act up & cause trouble~get hurt...
