They killed nearly 3500 blacks in 80 odd years. Daesh have killed hundreds of thousands in a little over five years. Indeed more black foetuses are killed in a week than the KKK managed ever. I don't really understand why the extreme right is so against abortion anyway, surely they would be happy to have far less potential gang members being born.

That's a goalpost move. Your first argument was about brutality - now it's about the #'s. And abortion is a completely different topic altogether.

The brutality was just as bad, imo. People would travel for miles to see some of the lynchings, and they were done in public in front of huge crowds.

Regardless, the argument stands. The KKK hijacked Christianity for their own warped agenda, much as groups like ISIS do w/ Islam.

That's why so many muslim nations are joining the fight against these terror groups. Just like the US did to put mittens on the KKK.
 
KKK is similar but not the same as salifists..KKK roots are in white supremacy - religion is more of a masquerade.

Wheras ISIS roots ARE /part of salafist Islam...religion is integral to the organization-
it cannot exist without that theological authority

I mentioned abortion to put into context the numbers killed by the KKK. Whose brutality is in another league compared to the sheer carnage perpetrated by Daesh.

Why is salafist Islam the arbiter? Some consider that to be anti-Islam.

Come on. You compare a race-based group to a religious-based group and wring some tortured comparison out of thetwo.

The KKK needed to be tamed, the same as these terror groups need to be tamed. Their ruination must be accomplished, regardless the core of their beliefs.
