They are the GOAT. This year. Heisman winning QB Mendoza all indicators point to Indiana. Curious to see if Miami's D gives Mendoza any trouble!
Few teams have been able to slow down Indiana's offense. In fact, only Ohio State was able to keep them below 20 points this year.

Indiana's defense has been pretty good, too. In BIG 10 play this year, only Oregon (twice) and Penn State were able to score 20 or more points against them.

I'm thinking that Miami DOES have a legitimate chance IF their defense can keep Indiana below 20 points. If not, then I think the game goes to Indiana. I expect it to be a closer game (not an annihilation like the Oregon game was), but still an Indiana win in the end. Miami is really good (underrated IMO), but Indiana is just plain better overall. Cignetti has done one HELL of a job with coaching them.

I bet sports (low ball, usually $5 bets). I wouldn't risk on either team. I honestly have no idea!

Iowa nearly pulled it off. Kept Indiana to 13 points with a minute left in the 4th

Penn State nearly pulled it off too... not the end game point total, but it took Indiana until roughly half a minute left in the game to pull ahead (after blowing a 20-7 lead roughly half way through the 3rd and then falling behind in the 4th).

Folks the betting ticket below shows I placed what's called a "Parlay" in betting. It's a much higher risk, because you're actually betting 2 things at once - the point spread, which had Indiana favored by 7.5 points. And the "Over" which means I bet that total points would exceed the target, which for last night's game, was 47 points.

Now, when you bet a "parlay" you have to win both things you bet or you lose it all. I won both. I took Miami and the points and the over. My $20 bet paid me $74 last night :)

Wooohooo!

Good deal! :)

It looks like the game (overall) played out much like I thought it would [27-21 final score]. I remember saying here beforehand that Miami would need to keep Indiana below 20 points to have a shot at winning. Well, they almost did it.
I also remember saying that this game would be much closer than the Oregon game (and that Miami is underrated). Indiana deserves the win, though... such an incredible "zero to hero" story.

I almost bet the "under" because both defenses are top-notch. Glad I didn't!
