New numbers from Stanford obliterate Democrats' fake COVID scaremongering

So he closed down the country with all the damage to the economy for purely political reasons?

No. Democrats did. Try to keep up.

A good leader would do what is right for the country rather than be cowed into pleasing the Democrats.

A good leader doesn't accommodate terrorists. :bs:

If he refused to close down the economy and he was right about the virus not being serious he would be a hero and the country would be better off.

No. We've already SEEN how that movie ends. Democrats would give us hourly updates on how many people had died since Trump said everything was fine, until he was fraudulently scandal-mongered out of office...just like they did to Bush with the "Mission Accomplished" hoax.

:nono:

Current federal guidance instructs Americans across the country to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people; work or attend school from home whenever possible; and abstain from eating or drinking at bars, restaurants and food courts.
Federal guidance is not a law, dumbass. It is not a shutdown either.
That is pretty restrictive although not as far as many states have gone.
It is governors that have shut down their States, not Trump. They have done it illegally.
You are free to ignore state instructions with little chance of punishment.
In some States. In others the governor will punish you.
Do you still claim Trump has "all authority" over this issue?
Trump as all the authority he needs to force the governors to relinquish their control.
If so, he could reopen if he chooses.
Correct.

Then why doesn't he do so?
So far he has chosen to negotiate with the governors, not sue them.
The states having a republican form of government gives the president no authority,
A governor running roughshod over the State constitution is NOT a republican form of government. It is a dictatorship.
especially to interfere with rights of the states to regulate health matters.
Banning economic activity is not a health matter.
You advocate a big federal power grab.
Inversion fallacy. This is what YOU are advocating.

Inversion fallacy. This is what YOU are advocating.

Reverse inversion fallacy.

I want to leave the power to the states per the Constitution. You want to give the president a huge new power to grant him authority the Constitution does not give him by completely misinterpreting the power to guarantee states a republican form of government by taking away that guarantee.

Just trying to divert blame for a crisis no one is responsible for by picking media, Democrats, and WHO as the scapegoats.

1) Debunking Democrat attempts to falsely blame President Trump is DEMOCRATS trying (and failing) to scapegoat people and invent culpability where it doesn't exist. Try to keep up. :awesome:

2) Arbitrarily assigning nefarious motives to your opponent is known as an invalid ad hominem fallacy...the signature move of he who has lost the debate. :bs:

Mockery.
I want to leave the power to the states per the Constitution.
The States have joined the Union. They are under the laws of the Constitution of the United States that all the States have agreed to.
You want to give the president a huge new power to grant him authority the Constitution does not give him
It does give him the authority. I have already specified article and section where it does.
by completely misinterpreting the power to guarantee states a republican form of government by taking away that guarantee.
That is not a misinterpretation. The Constitution of the United States does give the president all the authority he needs to restore a republican government in each State. What the governors are doing is not a republic. It is a dictatorship. They are violating their own State constitutions to do it.

Covid-19 is not a pandemic, epidemic, situation, or a crisis. An infection rate of 0.00135% is not a crisis. A death rate of 0.000273% is not a crisis.

Manufacturing a crisis out of fear mongering by the WHO, the Democrats, and the media is strictly their fault.

The reason I said COVID was about to begin winding down last week is because a major milestone had just been reached...the titers were finally complete. This is the game-changing point in virology at which you become able to do antibody testing and find out whether the patient in question has already had COVID and recovered from it, if they have it currently, and if they are safe to go back to work. The first data are finally coming in, and as predicted, the number of people who turned out to have COVID all along are astronomically skyrocketing, which means the COVID deaths are now out of a VASTLY greater number of COVID cases, meaning it is proving to be FAR LESS DEADLY THAN THE FLU.

What were you saying about how the sky is falling and we're all going to die from the sniffles? :awesome:

Notice how the thinking adults follow the evidence while Democrats assert things that they WANT to be true, DESPITE the facts? This is the consequence of being a dishonest scumbag.

Are you daft, no one nowhere is saying they hope the virus kills more people, nor, that we don't go back to normal, you got to turn off your radio every now and then

Everyone has hopes in the test, no one is rooting against it, unfortunately, the test isn't available on a large scale, and the current type tests out there have proven to be questionable. One can't boast a test if Americans can't get the test

And by the way, that hoax you are talking about, has killed over forty thousand in four months now, gradually reaching the total of Americans killed in the Vietnam War and is now the leading cause of death in the US, and that is with social distancing, tells us again how Americans have nothing to worry about

"Manufacturing a crisis out of fear mongering," we got an unpreventable virus spreading in the US killing thousands with social distancing and some are calling it a manufactured crisis, beautiful

1) Are you semi-literate? The claim being made is that Democrats are exaggerating and lying about this virus because they want COVID to hurt President Trump (and they absolutely do regularly openly admit to wanting the American people hurt for their own selfish partisan gain), not that they want the maximum number of people to die. This is called a "straw man" fallacy. It's a weak, sleazy, and cheap attempt at dishonesty.

You've been repeatedly shown hard evidence from CDC, John Hopkins, NIH, etc., and you persistently conclude the exact opposite of what they all say. It's either sheer stupidity or you simply WANT the numbers to be as bad as possible.

:bs:

You got to turn on your brain every now and then. :awesome:

2) In addition to your logic proving to be blatantly invalid, you might want to consider taking an 8th grade English class sometime. "No one *ANYWHERE*..." :palm:

unfortunately, the test isn't available on a large scale, and the current type tests out there have proven to be questionable. One can't boast a test if Americans can't get the test

They were using ELISAs. Those take all day to do a single test. I've done them. They are exhaustive and enormously complicated with tons of intricate steps, and every single thing you do must be perfect all day long or the entire set of tests is ruined. They literally JUST got the rapid test developed about two weeks ago and have rushed them into production. This is normal for a new virus.

:dunno:

And by the way, that hoax you are talking about, has killed over forty thousand in four months now, gradually reaching the total of Americans killed in the Vietnam War and is now the leading cause of death in the US, and that is with social distancing, tells us again how Americans have nothing to worry about

So WITH deliberately inflating the COVID death numbers, WITH the flu vaccine reducing flu deaths (which COVID does not have), and WITH the "experts" underestimating how many infected there are by up to 85 times the actual amount...COVID still isn't as deadly as the ordinary flu.

Comprehend it yet? :awesome:

Corona virus is not a leading cause of death in the United States...not even near it.
Heart disease is.
Stroke is.
Accidents is.

Heart disease is about a thousand deaths a day. Strokes are about half that. Accidents are about the same as strokes. That makes Covid-19 worse than all three of them combined... Right now. In theory, it will get better... After getting worse.

Comparing numbers from covid-19 and those from flu are not very useful. Accountants know pretty well all the tricks to cook numbers. The official Chinese CDC figure for flu in China for 2018: 700,000 cases and 147 death - far from the "500,000 annual death" as reported in the "new findings from the Lancet..."

If you want to know if Covid-19 is "just like the flu", go ask the doctors and nurses in Wuhan. You cannot "cook" the life and death that you witness with your own eyes.
