You do understand that you do NOT have to have a "cement block house" LOL... to install Fake culture stone, thin veneer stone, or even full stone over it,....RIGHT?

Instead you would install a waterproof barrier, weep vent, and metal lathe ,....then apply the fake stone over it with mortar. Now,.... for full stone you would need a brick ledge , flashing, and weep system but no lathe. Nahhhhhhhh,.....I dont know what Im talking about do I! :laugh:

The main point is very simple.... contrary to your idiotic claims, concrete block is still the basic foundation of a quality built home.

In the city where I live, there are world famous, mega-wealthy sports celebrities, from top name PGA stars like (recently deceased) Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods to NBA stars like Shaquille O'Neal who have or have had homes in a handful of exclusive neighborhoods just outside the metro area like Bay Hill, Isleworth and Alaqua Lakes. And every last one of those homes began with a reinforced concrete slab upon which the exterior and some interior walls were built of concrete block.

You either really don't know WTF you're yapping about or you are desperate to score some kind of weirdo "gotcha" points.

But everyone knows that concrete is the bass for a sturdy well built house.

You've gone from falsely claiming that I live in a shitty apartment, to claiming the concrete block construction of my house is cheap shit, to yapping about how to install stone veneer.

Concrete is what the footings are made out of that bear the load of the foundation. The foundation is then made of either concrete block, or a poured concrete system but 99.9 % of the time it would be the poured wall. Block is archaic. A thing of the distant past. The main structure of the home is almost never built from block...LOL It would be built from treated lumber and other wood materials. Now,....if it were to be built of concrete, it SURELY would not be built of concrete block as that would be stupid. Instead it would be built of an ICF system which is soooooooo far ahead of a common block that its not funny. Its like comparing a cell phone to an old wall hanger of the 40's. You simply do not know what you are talking about and are trying to debate someone that does.

Instead they lay the whole structure out of BLOCK LMAO! Instead of using the much more modern, better, energy efficient, well insulated, stronger, easier to finish off ICF poured concrete wall system. Oh,...I see.....:magagrin:
