There’s nothing Socialistic about a taxpayer getting his/her own money back.
The old Socialist lunatic, Crazy Bernie, was rejected by the American people...so was Socialism.
I don't know if we'll get one or not. So far we haven't seen anything nor is there anything on the IRS website about it.
I'm sure Mr. Owl, who is a frugal sort, will park his in the bank. I will scatter my half around the food pantries in the U.P. My kids asked me last week for some Mother's Day gift ideas. I asked them to help out their local food pantries, and they did. I got awesome kids.
It's not like we're making a career out of receiving these checks, it's a one-time return from many years of paying taxes.

Yet the exact same hypocrites are just fine with #COVID45 trying to order non-government-owned food processing plants to reopen -- thus exposing American citizens to the disease, again. The tax you pay is no longer your money. So its not getting your money back. Your money was already spent. The welfare money you got was future tax payers money.

Trump is incompetent in politics and does not know how to treat people. He does know conning and TV. He held up the checks to get his name on them because he knew people who are conned or not too bright would associate the checks with him. He figured it would help him in the election.
