Obama killing Trump on job statistics

Workers at McDonalds in New Zealand and Denmark make between $12.32/hour to $21/hour.

If American restaurant managers can not figure out how to run a business paying a living wage to employees, let's get rid of them and replace them with Danish and New Zealander restaurant managers.
Outsourcing jobs should apply to corporate management as well as to workers, eh?

By raising the price of a soda five to ten cents, they can easily pay for the extra cost for livable wages.

But then you begin to wonder if, in aggregate, society actually saves money by paying a few cents more for cokes and burgers, if people have living wages and are presumably not having to line up for food stamps, medi-caid, and other social services.

That's been my argument all along. People would be happy to pay $.25 more for a burger, if they saved on taxes that pay for social programs. Ironically, many who are seeing the $15/hr new wage, are now being denied benefits they used to qualify for. Shame, because $15/hr is hardly a living wage.

it's more then a few cents, and food prices are already sky high. The key is to grow GDP to the point business is forced to expand production/services and raise wages as a result.

wages are starting to come up
