This morning, after dropping my daughter off at school and heading towards my office there was a terrible traffic jam. Took me about an hour to travel two blocks. I finally was able to turn and go a different way.

I found out that the intercoastal waterway had risen to such a level that it was flowing over the top of a large bridge in my neighborhood. I’ve lived here for 25 years, never once have I seen intercoastal waterway come over a major highway.
