Since the Citizens' United Decision, where SCOTUS deemed money was like speech, the wealthy and corporations have been able to literally purchase politicians. We don't know that but I do see a look of "I wish Trump would shut up" on Rubio's face. He would have been a much better president than Trump. He is smarter, has a much better understanding of consequences than Trump, plus he has a much longer fuse. I predict Vance understands that and will use his family as a reason for not running opening the door for Rubio.
