I was simply pointing out other base numbering systems. What you personally want to write the value 'three', for example, is your business. People write it in many different ways. I was using the Arabic numerals. Much of Asia simply draws three horizontal lines (Japan and China will sometimes use the Arabic numerals). In Hebrew the numeral '3' looks a bit like a right parenthesis with an extra stroke in the lower right.

In a base 3 numbering system, there is no concept of four apples. There are 11 apples.
In a base 4 numbering system, there is no concept of four apples. There are 10 apples.

Either way, you have the same number of apples. There is only one answer, no matter what base numbering system you use, or what language you use. Here you and I agree on the point. There is only one answer.
