PA-18 results thread

As IHA's thread was just a masturbatory rant.

Here is NYT's results: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...ults-pennsylvania-house-special-election.html

Here is predicit market on the election, where you can get a good early feel on how the race is turning out: https://www.predictit.org/Market/37...cial-election-in-Pennsylvania's-18th-district

Very early results, but predictit is moving heavily towards Democrats as it is.

Will be ironic if the dems win a seat that they have extincted claiming gerrymandering. PA is too redneck a state to even predict, or care about who wins.

weird district. only Allegany county is giving Lamb support. New districts are even weirder

Are you honestly going to try and tell me they look weirder than the current districts?

Allegany county was the part of the Pittsburgh burbs they split off and tried to absorb with other more Republican counties. No fucking duh that's the place he's strongest in.

If Lamb wins (or not when it's this close) I think it sends a pretty clear message that a lot of Dems want no part of far left politics. It gives the DNC something to think about over their nominee choice for 2020.

Lamb 49.8%
Saccone 49.6%
97% of votes in

Something like 585 votes separate them, LOL......geeeeez what a horse race.:)

The above might be a sign that you're able to spin anything.

Not entirely sure - but it might be.

Well, for Pete's sake what's it say to you? I made a very objective observation there. Obviously there's a portion of the country's Dems who enjoy a more moderate candidate. There's no "spin" there.......just what it appears to represent. It's just my opinion and observation. Good grief.

A "spin" would be something like, "WOW what a landslide!!!!!!!! What a clear mandate!!!!!!!!!"
