Palin says voters too stupid to vote for her

Walt

Back To Reality
Palin called ranked voting a "new, crazy, convoluted, confusing" system. She claimed that "almost all Alaskans" wanted to vote for her, but they were too stupid to figure out that she was their first choice. According to her, Alaskan voters are too stupid to answer questions like, "who is your first choice", and "who is your second choice." She probably thinks "first" and "second" are part of that Common Core Math. She is quite confident that Alaskans love her, but just made a "mistake."

Good news, she will do the exact same thing again in November, hoping that Alaskan voters have learned from their "mistake." She said, "Alaskans know I'm the last one who'll ever retreat. Instead, I'm going to reload. With optimism that Alaskans learn from this voting system mistake and correct it in the next election." Yes, she would never resign half way through her first term as governor... That would be crazy.

trump rarely leaves his hideout, but he was willing to go to Alaska to support Palin. Palin was sure that would make everyone vote for her.

I hate to say it, but there were some Alaskans other than Palin who had trouble understanding that "rank voting primary" thing.

But she lost, fair and square.

Or maybe Alaskans want a real leader, one with actual experience, qualifications, and ability. Not an empty shell who plays at leadership, while primping in her mirror and planning her next LOOK AT MEEEE screech in some other state that is not Alaska.

Palin calling ppl "stupid" is priceless.

She has declined, mentally since her 2008 loss. She thought she was going to be a "GOP player". I really think there's something going on mentally with her. It would be a disaster to elect her to anything important right now.

Her popularity is gone as well. Poor thing.

She has never been either bright or mentally stable. Anyone who says that God told them to run for office is missing a few shingles.

Informing the voters that they were too stupid to figure out how to vote for her is not a way to endear them and get them to vote for you next time. I'm surprised that she hasn't claimed that there was fraud, the election was rigged, and other pet phrases of the #TangerineToddler who endorsed her dumb ass.

The same three candidates, using the same system, in an election held two and a half months later. It will probably go the same way, with the possible caveat that the turnout will probably be higher. Higher turnout will mean more moderates, and moderates generally do not like Palin.

There is a bit of a chance that Begich could win in November, but I doubt Palin will. It will probably be Peltola again.

Gee, a Trumper whining about losing an election. Go figure. :rofl2:

she always did have a clear understanding of the left.....

This ranked voting system was put into place with a Republican Governor, a republican majority in the legislature, and a republican-majority populace who voted on the ballot measure approving said system. Ain't no 'the left' involved here you dumb fuck

If I'm running against Palin, I'm reminding everyone that she got bored with being the governor (arguably the most powerful position in any state) after 2 years, and quit.

Ah, I see you've met our self-proclaimed Best Xtian Ever, who routinely calls people "cunts" just like Jesus did.

Begich and Palin reportedly ran nasty, negative campaigns, according to the ADN. Ms. Peltola ran a more positive campaign and focused on her years of experience as a leader, along with her experience in the fisheries industry, important to the citizens. Now she will have an opportunity to serve in Washington, where she will actually BE -- not sitting at home in Wasilla trying to "lead" via Zoom and illegally collecting a per diem from the taxpayers.

ETA: Democrat Mary Peltola wins special U.S. House election, will be first Alaska Native elected to Congress

Peltola ran a largely positive campaign as Begich and Palin traded barbs in the final weeks before the Aug. 16 special election, emerging as the victor with a platform that highlighted her position as the only candidate on the ballot who supports abortion access — an issue that has become important to voters with the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision removing federal protections for access to the procedure (the procedure remains protected under the Alaska Constitution).

Peltola has also said she is “pro-fish” and emphasized her plans to protect subsistence fisheries in Alaska as salmon stocks decline in the region where she has fished throughout her life.

While a bit odd, ranked choice has merit. It doesn't typically bode well for third party candidates, but it adds another layer to the election to assure that the winner has the confidence of the majority of the electorate. It keeps third party candidates from handing the election to a somewhat unpopular candidate.

That's going to be the messaging from Democrats going forward. You can approve of the Gingrich program of shit flinging, or you can opt for an adult.

This election means nothing, as the Dems already have a majority in the House, and these special election seats are only until November.

The rubber hits the road then. It will be interesting to see if Palin changes her tune?

Alaskans will not appreciate being called stupid, I’d run her words as I an ad!

Yep. And you betcha Begich will too, wink wink. Ms. Peltola can sit back, stay positive, point out her legislative experience, and let those two assholes beat each other up publicly.
