Republicans impeached Bill Clinton when it was not warranted. The Democrats are better/smarter than that.
 
Impeachment seems to upset many Americans concept of fair play. Vote a person in, you are stuck with them until the term ends. Nixon was a terrible crook who actually got away with treasonous activity as the Johnson tapes showed. He deserved to be impeached. The reds were waiting for a chance for a payback, and Clinton was the target. It was such a crappy attack that voters were repulsed.
Trump is a crook and if alll comes out, most of the people will climb on board. But the Red Senate will not , no matter what. So impeachment cannot happen. Pelosi sees that reality. And the process takes 2 years. No time for that to happen anyway.
