I'm not immune to hatred, but I honestly don't see where it applies here.
I certainly don't hate the cabinet secretary, his husband, or their adopted children.
There are people who hate or are against homosexuality and SSM couples adopting children.

I don't hate Jesus even a little. If he was an allegorical figure or if he was a real Jewish hippie, he had valuable ideas to share with us.
Christians, on the other, find a way to worship him as a god while often remaining completely oblivious to his ideas and suggestions.
I mean, I'm not a big believer in a god, but I think we all sort of act the way we're supposed to. When children are raised by good people they tend to control the selfish, violent, and antisocial tendencies of humans early in life. At the point that people are just "acting as god made them", so long as they're not harming anyone else, it's utterly bizarre to want to change, limit, or influence the way "god made us".
I will never be able to understand, for example, why straight, white hicks with no skin in the game want to decide whether a male homosexual couple should include two husbands or a husband and a wife. It's utterly mind numbing.
OK. I guess that was a little clumsy. I was trying to point out the religious community frowns on homosexuality because of their Holy Books.

Wrong. It started in post #30 when he called me a dickhead for telling him that two men are both husbands. He pretty much went off the rails after that, which is typical for him.
I’m feeling sorry for these people who don’t switch roles or positions, they’ve missed a lot in life.
