Please use this thread for reposting liberal excuses for not getting what they want.

the Justice Department, which Donald Trump essentially controls and he got rid of the problem Jeff Sessions, who the one decent thing that he did was recuse himself. This guy is not recused, it feels like the seeds of a cover-up are here".
:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

The liberal meltdown just continues to get better and better. :D

Precedents are a double-edged sword!

Mueller's report said that the reason for no indictments, and justifyingly so, his council were not able to prove that any law, according to the Constitution, were violated by the president or by those close to him.

OK! But, that leaves the nation in a cloud of confusion about what is legal and what is illegal when a candidate or a person seeking or in a high office, such as the presidency, when contacted by foreign officials offering to help them get elected.

Exactly what is acceptable vs. what is legal vs. what is illegal?

Because we have known about the collusion (yes, there was definitely collusion between Donald Trump, his campaign and Russian operatives all through Trump's campaign) and we all know about the lies of the president and his operatives denying it.

Robert Mueller's report did not say there were no collusion! His report just says that his council were unable to prove that the collusion violated any laws.

But, let me tell you right now, most Americans will not find it acceptable for a campaign to work with a foreign government in any capacity to help get themselves elected while expecting favors in return- no matter whether it is legal or not!

So, now Congress must do it's part and fulfill it's Constitutional obligation to investigate this themselves and see if the collusion by this president's campaign meets the people's standard for the way a campaign should act and operate in presidential or governmental elections. Otherwise future candidates are going to seek help from other nations to get themselves elected- whether it be Republicans or Democrats doing it! That is, if Congress just let's Trump and his campaign get by with it!

DONALD TRUMP WILL HAVE TO COME DOWN AND TESTIFY ON THE CONGRESS FLOOR ABOUT HIS COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA!

If I were Nancy, I'd subpoena Donald Trump first thing Monday morning!

What did he know, when did he know it? If he lies, I'm assuming he will be subjected to the same thing the Republican House impeached Bill Clinton for! LYING to Congress!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Barr, who wrote an Op ed complaining about the Mueller probe of the president. that actually was the one thing that Donald Trump noticed, and immediately announced him as his Attorney General, takes the Mueller report and crafts it into saying that Mueller has now left Trump's guilt up to him, and he say's Trump didn't collude or Obstruct!

BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

First of all, it is not Barr's call, but thanks, No thanks for his opinion!

An Attorney General appointed by someone being investigated by the Justice Department cannot make that kind of an assessment.

That is why Donald Trump's first Attorney General recused himself. He did what was right. Barr did not recuse himself, as he should have, as well.

So unless both sides of Congress looks at the report, they will not be able to make that assessment either.

That is the very next step- Congress will have to look at the report. And even beyond that report, they need to continue their own investigations and write their own report, and take legal actions- NOT BARR- a Trump operative he selected to shut down the Mueller probe.

Mueller just threw his hands up in the air, and said that Congress should determine the guilt or innocence of this president, because he was unable to make that decision- or was unable to indict a president even if he could. I am sure the explanations as to why Mueller was unable to make those decisions are the things that Barr intentionally left out of his report

I mean, for all the people know, Barr intentionally shut down Mueller's investigation and said, "Give me what you have now, and I'll take it from here"! In other words, Mueller may have been fired, and we just don't know it yet!

What Barr is doing is Slick Willie cover-up politics at the highest level. The assessment that Mueller refused to make about Donald Trump's guilt or innocence, can only be made by the legislative branch of government- Not Barr- a Trump loving asshole!

That is what Mueller said in his report. That he is leaving the matter up to Congress to decide!

Barr's just trying to go in front of Congress to give his Biased and Politically based opinions of Robert Mueller's investigation and trying to mislead everyone into thinking that Mueller said Trump is not guilty of anything!

WHICH IS A GOD DAMN LIE!

is it just me or was mueller working for trump all along?
Has occured to anyone else we may all have been hood winked by a republican false flag operation?

Not me. I've always said dump wasn't going to jail and muller was a republican.

I don't trust anyone from the right.

Also said it the report "does not conclude Trump committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him"

It was Barr that wrote the summary, Mueller wasn't even consulted, Barr that concluded that Trump didn't do anything, shocker, beginning to look an awful lot like the infamous Nunes memo

Is, but as you should know with Comey, Barr determined there wasn't enough evidence to charge him, again, it was Barr's summary, not Muellers

Wrong, Mueller wasn't even consulted on the summary, totally Barr's interpretation

:D

Ah, yes, have you forgotten who hired Barr?

What was released was a summary of the Mueller report - prepared by trump cock sucker Barr.

Obviously Barr is NOT going to release the FULL Mueller report.

And Mueller made it VERY CLEAR that he did not have sufficient evidence to charge trump or any of his russian mates.

Hmmm - who refused to participate in the Mueller investigation? Yep the fucking orange cunt.

That's the summary that Barr prepared. It is NOT the Mueller report you fucking dickhead.

And then it disappears, especially when the demand to see the entire report is squashed by Barr on Trump's direction

sorry, Barr said that, not Mueller

gee, what a shocker

btw, who hired Barr?

that's correct

who hired Barr?

where's Muller's report?

locked in Barr's office safe?

Another trump lie. The Barr letter on page 3 doesn't say complete and total exoneration. Seriously, don't you guys get tired of having to excuse and defend his daily howlers?

who hired Barr?

and if Mueller's report does absolve Trump of his various crimes and treasonous acts...............why NOT give it to the House? Who's hiding what?

well cultists...?

Barr's entire letter to Congress is bogus

I love this part, supposedly in Mueller's own words: “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

say what? He couldn't prove Trump committed these crimes and he can't prove he didn't? that's ridiculous

btw who hired Barr?

who does Barr work for?

oh and who hired him to begin with?

First, the Special Counsel had 3 mandates;
1 - Investigate Russian interference into the election
2 - Investigate the Trump campaign for criminal conspiracy to aid Russia in that interference.
3 - Investigate Trump for Obstruction of Justice

On point 1, that was shown to be true, but we all knew that.
On point 2, according to Barr's letter, there was not enough evidence to say yes to that point.
On point 3, the report does not exonerate Trump on Obstruction and Barr says he will make that determination.

As far as this being over, it's not over. We still need to hear Barr's report on Obstruction, but he's in a corner here. Barr basically auditioned for the job with a 19 page letter that says moire or less, a President cannot be charged with Obstruction. Congress could be constitutionally mandated to take over that investigation based on a conflict of interest based on Barr's 19 page letter.

Trump fucked himself by admitting on TV that he fired Comey to stop the Russia investigation.

Congress is not going to let this go. We've all heard that both Barr and Mueller may be subpoenaed to testify and the question is why did Mueller stop short of his 3rd mandate and why did Barr release his findings so soon about a 400+ page report that he got less than 48 hours ago.*

SDNY, EDNY, State of Virginia are also following up on investigations passed off to them by the Special Counsel in addition to their own investigations - like it or not.

Also is the question I posted earlier, why so many lies? Why did so many people lie and keep lying, al a Manafort lying to investigators repeatedly.

38 indictments.
5 guilty pleas.
4 prison sentences.

Explain that.

And of course, Trump's statement today was full of more lies. smh

1 of 3 things happened today. 1, Trump got a political Victory - albeit a hollow one, or 2, he got a stay of execution, or 3, Barr is suppressing info from the report, which does not legally need to be released to the public.

There is enough left unsaid to muddle the issue, both sides can frame the narrative they want, what is going to dominate now is when Barr is going to release the report and how much he will allow to be released.

It will continue till 2020 if not beyond

maybe Barr rushed Mueller to shut it down before the other cases were done

New evidence can emerge

there was never going to be a Trump indictment, whether it was special prosecutor Mueller doing the report or someone else

Mueller has already spun off multiple investigations on various Trump cronies like Gates, Manafort and few others in DC, VA, and NY........along with the NY AG's investigation into the Trump Foundation/Jaranka/Donny Jr

I don't believe Donny can do a kabuki 'victory dance' all the through a campaign, but I've underestimated his con man talents many times before lol

Let's put it this way. Here's a scenario all of us have seen on the news at one time or the other. A woman is found murdered. The police gather clues. They have a pretty good idea that her bf did it. There is some evidence, but unfortunately not enough to prove him guilty "beyond a reasonable doubt." The crime eventually goes into the cold case files.

That's the same standard Barr & Rosenstein (who you used to lovingly refer to as "Rosenweasel," no?) used when they declined to charge Trump & Co with criminal activities. Does that mean they are innocent and did nothing? Nope. It just means that there is not enough evidence to secure a conviction, in their experience as PAs. As Mueller said, Trump was not exonerated. They simply did not have enough evidence to convict.

Do you ever get tired of looking like an asshole and being a jerk?

If you think that the investigations into your corrupt president is over, you are the one that is bat-shit-crazy.

The Barr Summary that came out over the weekend and ham-handed to congress is basically another obstruction of justice and a coverup of the actual and factual Mueller report.

What was not released, was the many notations to Congress, by Mueller, to continue their own investigations and make their own conclusions about whether Trump concluded with the Russians or his efforts to Obstruct Justice to cover up his tracks and thwart the investigation by abusing executive powers.

Because of the conflict of interests of Barr, and his loyalty to Donald Trump for being gifted his Attorney General job, a job that he had to promise he would not recuse himself from the Special Council investigation, he is basically not in any position to have a final say-so in this matter. He should have also recused himself from the Special Council investigation and just turned the Mueller report over to the House of Representatives- that is if he puts this country before playing politics and trying to cover for this rogue corrupt president. His act of summarizing the report and edit it to make Trump look innocent makes him just another corrupt link in Donald Trump's Obstruction of Justice chain.

This is nothing more than another attempt to deprive the people of the truth and obstruct justice, and it is not going to work like Donald Trump, Barr, and all of Trump's followers think at this moment.

The war is not over, and Donald Trump is not getting by with anything yet. This was one battle that turned into a stalemate for the people of America because of the Democracy crisis we find ourselves in.

Robert Mueller has known all along that he would be unable to indict a sitting president, and he ran into a stalemate trying to get witnesses to tell the truth, where many of the witnesses live in Russia, one is holed up in an Embassy over n the UK, and they couldn't be subpoenaed to even testify. so he wrapped up his investigation, and said here is what we have been able to nail down, here is what we have not been able to nail down, and is leaving this up to Congress and the American people to make their own conclusions as to whether any of Donald Trump and his campaigns actions are acceptable to the American People- whether it broke any laws on the books as they are right now- or not

Not everything a president is judged for or impeached for has to do with breaking the law! A vocal majority can insure Congress investigate and impeach a president for ethical reasons as well, and anything not acceptable to a vocal majority.

The House will now continue their investigations. Mueller will be subpoenaed, Barr will be subpoenaed, and perhaps even Donald Trump will have to come down to the House floor and testify on his own behalf.

Nothing is over- It is just getting started!

So I hope you have CSPAN

Perhaps you can then keep-up and watch how we the people deal with corrupt presidents, and Attorney Generals who try to cover for their corrupt presidents!

We've seen this movie before!

t

:palm:

No, Trump appointed William Barr... Who gave us his version of the Mueller report. The same William Barr who decided not to prosecute Trump for obstruction of justice.

The rest will be given out after Trump has had the opportunity to edit it.

we've know Barr would quash Mueller's report since 8 June 2018

https://www.justsecurity.org/wp-con...mo-to-DOJ-Muellers-Obstruction-Theory-1.2.pdf

so uh, where's Mueller's report?

and SCOTUS is in Trump's pocket so we may never know

we have known for months Barr would produce his own report on Trump's collusion and obstruction of justice

and we knew Trump's chumps would to this weird kabuki dance after Barr's lies were published

I'm shocked

They are busy chopping it up so badly that it will not be intelligible. Rump has a red pen in his hand as we type.

It will be 30 years before we see full report, Rump will make sure.

Already defending the cover up!

Sure it did. It stood enough to conduct an investigation by the Special Counsel.

Now the GOP is refusing to release that report, opting for a "take Barr's word for it" approach.

Barr has no credibility.

Yes, too bad Barr is not independent.

He's trying to cover this up just like he covered up Iran Contra 30 years ago.

What law applies here? You keep saying it has to do with "the law"...so...what law are you talking about?

Why do I get the feeling like you're stalling?

Which law? What law are you talking about?

Perhaps no indictment because Mueller found the President committed impeachable offenses.

So it's up to Congress, not the AG, to determine that.

Release the report.

What are you so afraid of?

yep Trump's boy Barr is definitely obstructing justice

And the liberal delusion(s) continue. :D

Of course Barr tipped the jump ball in Trump's favor. He was appointed by Trump because he had already stated his bias towards the investigation. This is what we call a "no brainer".

Now, let us see what the full Mueller report says. Then we won't have to reply on Barr's four page summary...…….:)

In the mean time, the "Trumpsters" have yet to answer why the Trump team did so much lying about something that they said they did not do....

you make the assumption we shouldnt

Why and how did you arrive at your assumption??
