Poll: Should all reactions generate a positive score?

Should every reaction bring positive points?

That's true. It was a few years back; I had to repeat the request when we got this new interface because the FI fell off in the transfer. I hear that to this day, though, Goatyurt is *still* whining and carping about the FI. What an odd hobby. lol
Twatwaddle, if you are a warm and "welcoming" individual, why do you have anybody on ignore?

I'm far more likely to leave it the way it is than to change things, nobody has been complaining, other than about the notifications which I have promised to deal with...
Notifications are made from any reaction just like posts, no matter how annoying the poster. Putting someone on ignore gets rid of both their posts and reaction alerts.

Clicking on Alerts, refresh and they clear up leaving only the posts. I never have a problem with them, good or bad. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Only 20 display, those who want to "bother" others use notifications to block all interaction that the other user wants by flooding notifications so that they cannot see the notifications they want. So I plan to create a "ignore reactions from <user>" feature.

Folks don't want to ignore other people to get them off their notification page, often they prefer to have notifications on for quoted posts, etc, but just don't want them from the reactions.... So, I am making a way to make that happen without turning off all notifications from reactions or ignoring someone. Whether it affects you personally or not it is what is going to happen. Mostly because it isn't about you...

Per page. Due to posts by people like Trump Dummy, Arbie, Sybil and the like, I often have to go back a page or two. Not a problem except for the weak and stupid.

If you want to go through the trouble of creating more features, that's obviously your call. What about ignore alerts from certain people without putting them on ignore?

I will bet you never thought your simple poll request would have turned into the shitshow it has become.
Honestly, I wanted to see who it was important to have that "negative score"... It isn't about reactions for those people, it isn't communicating how you feel about the post, it is quite literally them making sure they know they are not in the "in" clique... and a way to try to control the board.

The "in" clique like being a MAGAt or a penis-lover?

If "the 'in' clique" means "not a troll, then that's a good thing.

Mattie Mensa, the two Trump Dummies, Tranny Dicks Are Kewl, Fat Boy and others are obnoxious trolls who deserve every negative reaction they receive. If Damo would rather posters just put "Kiss my ass" on every post instead of an emoji reaction, I can do that too.

Clearly that is not the "in" clique around these parts, there Drunkle.
Then what is, Damocletus? Who do you consider to be in a "clique"?

So you enjoy reading and interacting with annoying people. That's weird.
He's a little troll like most MAGAts. He's full of bitterness, hate and, in his case, jealousy. My guess is that he wanted to be a war hero like his dad but his cognitive disability prevented him from signing up to serve. Now he's jealous of those who did.

Remember when he lied about me badmouthing his mom? Fat Boy claimed I wanted to rape his wife. What kind of moron posts such dishonest lies and fantasies online?

Well, like HS... The "in" clique are the ones who think they are valuable because they have that good "score"... To make sure they have the "good" score they devalue others. Spending weeks going back to old posts to "neg" them serves two purposes. To flood their notifications, and to generate that negative score they desperately want the "out" crowd to have.

Who values the negative "scores" they give? You will find those are the folks are part of the "in" clique.

I may simply remove score at all from the equation. This allows the communication without that dopamine you get from giving "neg" to those you want to show are not "in"... but if I do that I fear I may make the site less "fun" for the "in" crowd.

You probably should leave it the way it is, or nakedhunterbiden will stop contributing $$$. She has figured out a program that auto reacts to any and every post seconds after it is put up.

A disruption to her current mission could cost you a lot of money.
