Here’s the menu for the Trump-Xi state dinner at White House

The menu for tonight’s state dinner honoring Chinese President Xi Jinping is out and features “American ingredients with subtle Chinese influence,” according to first lady Melania Trump’s office.

“The meal begins with a toast of Schramsberg ‘Blanc De Noir,’ honoring the historic ‘Toast to Peace’ shared by President Nixon and Premier Zhou Enlai in Beijing in 1972. The same American sparkling wine served at that historic gathering continues to be enjoyed at White House functions today,” the White House said.

The first course consists of yellow squash velouté and a wild mushroom fricassée, complemented by crispy pancetta and topped with a drizzle of scallion oil.

That is followed by sesame-crusted sea bass, served with braised baby bok choy and roasted eggplant, finished with sauce vert.

For dessert, the menu calls for a vanilla crémeux with a sour cherry confit center atop a walnut frangiapane and served with White House Honey ice cream on the side.

“There is a lot of details that comes in to plan the state dinner,” the first lady told “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning. “There is protocol that you need to follow. Every detail I was involved [in] from tomorrow.”

No, but the Chinese are very aware that the Empire is crumbling.....that the future belongs to the Chinese.....that they have us by the balls.

The Chinese do no control Trump, but they can see very well that America is floundering, that we are digging our own grave.....that Trump is so insecure and that the performance for this visit is so low quality when the optics/performance is what America cares most about hammers this home.

I have mentioned at several points that the Americans are now so far gone that they often send the exact opposite message from what they are intending.

I say they because I am an enemy of the failing Empire, of the Epstein Class, of the Wall Street Mafia which runs things.

If an American is pragmatic enough, he should recognize that maintaining a good relationship with China is good for America. And the same is true for China. I am Chinese. I could also say things like America is terrible — gun violence, fentanyl, crime, immigration, wars in the Middle East, and so on. But what's the point? America is still powerful. We don't doubt America's capability. If anything has changed, it's just that China's capability is rising too. It's that simple. Essentially, these are two major powers on either side of the Pacific, and there shouldn't have been as much conflict between them over the past decade as there has been.
