President Trump reportedly "loves the idea of testifying" before the January 6 Committee, sources reported to Fox News on Friday morning.

This after that committee held it's 9th day of hearings since their inception in 2021, during which they voted to supbpoena the former president to sit before them and take questions under oath.

The vote among the 9 committee members, made up of seven Democrats and two Republicans who are both set to leave Congress at the end of this term, was unanimous.

Fox reported that "The source said that if Trump complied with the subpoena and testified, he would 'talk about how corrupt the election was, how corrupt the committee was, and how Nancy Pelosi did not call up the National Guard that Trump strongly recommended for her to do three days earlier on January 3, 2021.'"

While it's unclear if Trump will testify before the committee, the source said that he "loves the idea."

Trump slams the committee & includes multiple pages of his examples of election fraud. No mention of testifying before committee

1) He will stall any testifying for as long as possible, and 2) if he can't run out the clock and is forced to appear, he'll take the Fifth. Wait for it.

He never recommended that the guard be called, he simply stated that if they want them, call them. if he did not want his fucking Nazi's to attack the capital all he had to do was tell them not to. and the committee will be asking the questions, it won't be shithead show and tell day.

How come the shithead never bothers to utter a single piece of credible evidence of his supposed election fraud? His own professionals and AG who supported him throughout told him he was totally full of shit at every one of his bogus claims. He lost the fucking election and everyone knows it including him and all his Nazi's. His letter is a worthless piece of paper that Thompson might read before pitching it in the trash.
 
Trump writes like a five year old. But I digress. Please, please PLEASE let Trump come in and testify under oath. Give him all the air time he wants. The committee will chew him up and spit him out. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. His lawyers will talk him out it. It's just nice to imagine Trump balling up his little fists and throwing Big Macs at the TV while Liz Cheney is talking.

Trump will NEVER testify under oath before the committee. The man is simply incapable of telling the truth...and he knows it.

Right, just like he said he would testify for Mueller, in the first impeachment hearings, and in many of the umpteen lawsuits he has against him, in fact, if memory serves me right, the only time he did testify was because he ran out of the legal options and was forced to show up and took the fifth over hundred times to ever question asked of him. He is such a man of his word
