PRICELESS!

For me an example of voting against your economic interest would be farmers supporting trump and getting burned in his trade wars. Coal miners supporting trump because he going to bring back "beautiful clean coal", an oxymoron if ever there was one, yet the industry is still in decline. Steelworkers supporting trump and then he imposes tariffs on steel and aluminum. Same with auto workers or people working in manufacturing. trump has no clue about a global economy. He told people what they wanted to hear and they accepted it unquestioningly.

What "free stuff" would the above be getting from Democrats? If they lose their jobs as a result of trump policies then they should get unemployment benefits. If god forbid it takes a long time to get another good-paying job then these people may have to depend on food stamps or other aid. It doesn't mean they're lazy or entitled. But that's what republicans seem to think when they talk about "free stuff."

What's the matter with Kansas was written before Trump. Obama's guns and religion was said before Trump. The argument is you need government programs and we're going to give them to you because you aren't smart enough to survive without them.

^ The only place I see that argument is on RW sites. I don't know what you mean about Kansas and as far as the PA guns and religion quote, he was right. I live here, maybe you would have to live here to know just how right he is.

You'd be wrong. Blacks, like Asians, whites and Hispanics can vote however they choose. We are all individuals. I'm not in any way defending racism from people on the right but there is an echo chamber from the left that thinks you immune from your own racial biases and racism. It may not be in the form of using the n word but it manifests itself in other ways

I understand you are either blind, or in denial about the widespread and ubiquitous racism in your conservative movement.

Why don't you try reading the posts of some of your fellow conservatives here, many of whom are overt, degenerate, and unrepentant racists and white supremacists.

What's The Matter With Kansas was written by liberal author Thomas Frank about why certain whites vote against their own economic interest. Think it came out in the mid aughts. I believe it was a best seller.

Cypress, I specifically said I'm not defending racism on the right. I acknowledge it exists. But anonymous people dropping N bombs on a political message board isn't the only kind of racism in America. Not all racism is so blatant but it exists and liberals contribute to it.

I would be willing to say that almost every single prominent conservative who has been on this board has - at some point - made the statement that blacks only vote Democratic "to get free stuff". As if blacks are children, and too incompetent to be trusted to use good judgment to vote.
There could not be a clearer telegraph of their inner racist than that.

bullshit......whites vote demmycrat to get free stuff too.......all of you are too incompetent to be trusted........
