Why is what happened 230 years ago relavent to the word we live in today?

Are you saying that dredging up ancient history to make one segment of society feel like perpetual victims who can never rise above their present situation without everyone else bowing to them is the way to achieve racial harmony?

You said 230 years but neglected to subtract the last 50 or so and especially the past 30 where those things have been reversed.

There have been plenty of efforts made to level the playing field but nobdy wants to talk about blacks' own role and responsibilities in improving their lot.

As long as black teens continue to drop out of school, have children out of wedlock and get involved in crime and violence at rates higher than any othet segment of society, nothing the rest of us do will ever amount to much.

The problem is that is poitcally incorrect and ths verboten to even have a conversation about it.

It's like a big, giant lie that everyone sees, but just ignores.
