Question for JPP lefties

Pelosi thinks lowering it would make 15 and 16 year olds get into politics. But most schools don't even have poli sci anymore.

We totally need to require that politics and government are taught in school. People need to understand how beautiful the US Constitution is, and how marvelously it sets up our government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We have far too many foolish people who do not understand how our government works, and they are afraid of our government.

Too many people fear our government when they should actually be focusing their disgust on the big money influence in government that causes virtually all of our problems.

Fear mongers catalyze fear of our government to get people to vote against their own better interest.

We don't want fewer regulations!

What we need is more effective BETTER regulations.

Capitalists. Greedy owners of large capital are the ones who want fewer regulations. They care more about making more profits than they do about the environment, worker rights or product safety. Greedy capitalists spend huge amounts of money influencing our government. Take a wild guess why.

Understood, I get that.
But still, if you are purged, it shouldn't be a secret. There should be an effort to reach the voter first, and a notice mailed out that they've been purged. They do that for your car registration, yes?

I guess what I am getting at is the fact that I am aware that certain power brokers DON'T WANT to enable voters, quite the opposite.

To my mind, allowing 16 year olds to vote is one of the most brazen attempts at vote grabbing I’ve ever seen. All politicians would need to do is show them shiny things and they’d have the 16 year old bloc locked down tight.
But how many JPP lefties think this is a good idea? And what’s the justification for it?
Winning the next election doesn’t count.
