Quit your bitching Lefties

Trump has fucked this country like a whore. Typical of a rich tyrannical child raping piece of shit.

And boomers didnt sace us from Germany. The greatest generation did. You fucking boomers ruined the spoils of that war with your greed.
I said in my post #15 that that our boomer dads won that WW2. What greed do you see coming from we boomers? My boomer generation was the hardest working generation America has ever had. Today's greed comes from our current generation from the many leftist socialist morons that
do nothing but feed off of our BIG GOVERNMENT welfare state.

Not really. Homeownership sucks people capital into buying a house, and makes moving to find a better life more difficult. It has good sides too, but I don't think the government should be pushing one solution over another.

Actually, it builds wealth over time. Renting means you pay perpetually and you get nothing in terms of a return on that money. It also means you are at the whim of the landlord in terms of doing anything to the apartment.

If--IF--the government is to be involved, it should be on the side of encouraging ownership over renting. Remember:

THE MAN THAT OWNS THE BOAT, RARELY HAS TIME TO ROCK IT.
Some of the most prosperous countries have low homeownership, and some of the less prosperous countries have high homeownership, so homeownership is not the be all end all of economics some would have us believe.

No, it isn't. But it is a means of increasing prosperity for many. I would suspect that the degree that a country has urbanized is more a factor in ownership than simple wealth comparisons would make.

  • U.S. homeowners have an average net wealth that is 400% higher than that of renters with similar demographics and earnings, and home equity represents the largest proportion of wealth (34.5%) for U.S. households.

The benefits of ownership extend far beyond just an economic one. Quality of life is usually improved, and involvement in community rises.

It might, but not well. It traps people in a location. I could go on and on. There are good arguments and bad arguments for homeownership.

Renting means you pay perpetually and you get nothing in terms of a return on that money.
It also means you can invest your money(getting a better return), and can move easily to find better opportunities. You do not have all your investment in one asset.

Switzerland has low homeownership, and little social disruption. Italy has high homeownership, and constant social disruption.

Not particularly. Homes are bought and sold all the time. I can sell my house at a profit in less than 14 days if I needed to.

Rent is a totally sunk cost. You get ZERO return on investment paying rent. For most people, rent or a mortgage payment is one of the single largest, if not the largest, payment they make every month. With rent, it's gone. You get nothing from it other than another 30 days of living in the apartment or whatever you are in.
With a mortgage, you own the property and the amount owed on the loan decreases each month. The property also appreciates in value meaning that you are making potential profit. When you sell, you make back what you put in or more. Renting doesn't do that.

So? Switzerland also has little ethnic diversity and a population that on the whole is productive and wealthy. Italy has some serious social disruption going on but not due to homeownership.

Fuel injection and FADEC built by boomers.

Boomer built.

Boomer built.

I don't believer you.

I don't believe you.

PVC and PEX created by boomers.
Fuck boomers, and fuck you too. Lol

Pex was invented by Dr Engel, a guy born in the 20s. Greatest generation. Brayton ivented fuel injection in like 1880.

Obviously education isnt the strong point of you boomer idiots.

Okay. Continue to rent and have nothing to show for it.

Real property is an excellent asset.

Switzerland is undergoing riots right now, Wally. Leftists.

Pex was introduced to the United States in 1968. It was first used as general plumbing starting 1993. Pex B was developed in 1996, the kind you probably use now.

FADEC engines in cars started appearing in the 1990s. ECU's began around the 1980's, along with single point fuel injection which finally became reliable enough. Multipoint fuel injection (which all cars today are using) in th 1990s'.

All developed by Boomers.

So is the personal computer AND the internet that you are currently whining on.

Switzerland has it too.
