Quote the most vile posts from JPP libs about Rush Limbaugh

Rush was a divider and hater who stoked them to new levels. He was not a nice person and he did serious damage to the country. It is a nastier and meaner place due to his lies and vulgarity. He made it OK to be a bigot and verbally assault people, particulate gays, transgenders, or Democrats.

And just when did this happen?

I do not celebrate anyone's death. I do celebrate the death of Limbaughs hate filled message.

Maybe I was dreaming but I could swear that there were multiple threads celebrating the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Those came after the threads hoping for her death. Did I miss something?
No, you are correct, isn’t it ironic.

That you are just as bad or worse than those you condemned about Justice Ginsberg?

No one should gloat over another persons death! No matter how bad or good they were they still had those who loved them.

Just to clarify, that response was directed at me. And I can tell you that I do not celebrate ANYONE'S death. I was pointing out the irony and the hypocrisy. The vitriol directed at Ginsburg and McCain after their deaths was disgusting. I don't recall the OP bemoaning those comments, and there were dozens of them.

Nearly every day. I worked with a guy who played him on his radio. I could not believe what a prick and how nasty he was. I especially remembered how badly he treated a college girl who thought her birth control pills should be covered by insurance. Lots of women are prescribed them for other reasons. They have other health benefits. Yet Rush was fine with viagra being covered. He made no sense and was just a nasty prick.

To begin with my reply was aimed at Phantasmal, but you fit the definition of gloating
contemplate or dwell on one's own success or another's misfortune with smugness or malignant pleasure.

Almost everyone in this forum has said or done something hypocritical here me included.

Instead of dwelling on the bad Rush did in his life you should look at the good he accomplished helping others through various charities. I used to listen to Rush but as he gained prominence his message got more radical. But like any showman he gave his audience what they wanted. Just like Maddow and all the other talking heads do.

I do not disagree, because 20-22 weeks is when the brain begins true development, hence why many States limit elective abortions from that point on unless there are serious health reasons. I would point out that the Vast Majority of abortions are performed before that cutoff time in development. So do you support the right of a woman to chose to have a abortion before 20 weeks, at least in legal terms?

If you read the original Roe v. Wade decision it spells out a very reasonable compromise that I think 90% of both Ds and Rs would agree on. Unfortunately, "give them an inch, and they'll take a mile", and that's what has occured.

#149 was my comment on Rush Limbaugh. EE’s false statements about me are why I ignore his comments, but since you quoted him, I will defend myself.

What a dodo starting this discussion. You're trying to mess with people so now even those that said nothing will gladly have a comment for the guy that produced more hot and foul air than a chili convention. Maybe we should post what you and others said about political opponents that died.

As I remember Sandra Fluke was lobbing congress to force religious institutions to include birth control pills as part of their insurance coverage. And yes Rush went over the top on that issue. But as I said before. Rush was a showman and he was giving him main listeners what they wanted. I disagreed with most of Justice Ginsberg's rulings but I didn't gloat over her death unlike many.

A showman is correct. He did not tell the truth and he treated small people terribly. Fluke had no national audience. He called her terrible names and made claims about her private life with absolutely no knowledge of it. He was beating on a defenseless girl. That is nothing to be proud of.
Ginsburg made no rulings. She had votes. It took a majority to pass or fail a case.

She was not defenseless she had every right to sue Rush. What Rush said on his show had no effect on Americans! But Justice Ginsberg's opinions could and often did effect every American.

How exactly do I 'fit the definition of gloating?' Maybe you can quote me so I can see for myself where I 'gloated' over Rush's death. I'll wait.
