Record Trade Deficit, Record Monthly Budget Deficit, Record Annual Deficit...

Record FY deficit...

All records made by Conservatives this century.

Conservatives have no positive track record on economic or fiscal matters.

So much winning!

"OMG just look at that deficit! We'll save you, America! Let's cut all these unnecessary programs like Special Olympics, medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, TANF, SNAP and get all these lazy old ppl and DD kids back to work!" -- Republicans

Yes because you can't employ someone in a job that a robot does.

I'm for a UBI and fully-funded public colleges and universities.

We have a lot of job openings, but lack candidates with the requisite experience and training for those roles. The only way they can get it is if they are educated and trained. That costs $$. So if you're not going to guarantee everyone an income, you should guarantee them an education so they can get that income.

we lack candidates willing to be slaves.

you facilitate wage suppression.

No it's not.

2018 saw 2% fewer revenues than 2017.

Revenues are down.

February 2019 was the largest monthly deficit ever. EVER.

That's all because of your shitty tax cuts.

:lolup:Moron doesn't know that the Federal budget year is October to September.

not really.

Yes, really. It's an attempt to spike the debate because it's not going the way you hoped.

do you know what a "glut" is and its impact on the supply demand curve?

What I know is that last year, revenues were 2% below what they were in 2017, and that the deficit is 25% higher, while growth was 0.03% lower than it was in 2015, when Obama was President. Also, Obama reduced the deficit in 2015 by 11%, AND created more jobs.

so you don't understand how excess labor drives down wages?

you're anti-science.

We have a labor shortage right now, because there are millions of jobs that are going unfilled because of a lack of qualified people to fill them.

So the natural solution to that is to train and educate people to fill those jobs.

That requires spending money.

Wrong again moron; actual Federal revenue for 2016 was $3,314,893. Revenue for 2017 was $3,328,745. $3,328,745 is greater than $3,314,893.

Federal Budget years go from October to September you ignorant dumb fuck.

No; it requires effort on the part of the workforce to become more educated you dumb fuck. We already spend enough.

We don't need to cut spending (though the Defense budget should be the first place to look for cuts), we need to stop reducing revenues by cutting taxes.

Revenues haven't been reduced. SPENDING continues to outpace revenue. I do wish you had a fucking brain.

2016 Revenue = $3,514.359 BILLION SPENDING = $4,263.064 BILLION 4.263 Trillion is greater than 3.514 Trillion.
2017 Revenue = $3,533.637 BILLION SPENDING = $4,413.940 BILLION 4.414 Trillion is greater than 3.533 Trillion.
2018 Revenue = $3,569.478 BILLION SPENDING = $4,651.034 BILLION 4.651 Trillion is greater than 3.570 Trillion.

GDP wasn't 2.9% in 2015 you brain dead moron. It was a pathetic 1.0044%. You don't get to cherry pick numbers that it your moronic narrative.

GDP in 2018 was 2.97%. 2.97% > 1.0044%. GDP in 2017 was 2.47%. 2.47% is greater than 1.0044%.

You are doing your math incorrectly.
If you average the percentages in each quarter it will not be the percentage growth for the year.
The percentages for each quarter are for growth over the previous 12 months.
The number for the 4th quarter is technically the yearly growth from the previous year.
Economists have a couple of ways to calculate yearly GDP growth. None of them are the way you are doing.

Then you have to decide if you are doing GDP growth or real GDP growth which is inflation adjusted.

No I am not; but then, you are a moron on steroids so it is nearly 100% predictable that you would bloviate like one.

Let me give you a simple test -

You have $10,000 in the market.
Year one, the market loses 25%
Year 2, the market gains 25%.

If you average the loss and gain it is 0%.

Do you have $10,000 at the end of year 2 based on the 25% loss and 25% gain?

I do have some great investments that will lose you 25% in the first year but make you 33% in the second year guaranteed. That means you make an average of 4% per year using your calculations. Where else can you be guaranteed that kind of return? Would you take that investment opportunity?
