Sounds like a case of 'missing the boat' on personal privacy.
Government snooping is not the problem.
Government doesn't have to snoop on people.
Capitalism has already done it for them.
If you wanna know anything about anybody's life, just ask the biggest corporations.
They already have all the data on everyone.
And they continue to collect it.
If government ever wanted to know anything about anybody all they have to do is ask / subpoena a big corporation for it.
Ever read the full user agreement for virtually anything from a big corporation?
In it, they describe exactly what they will do to you if you want their product.
They will take your data and call it their own.
They will use it, sell it as they please.
You have no choice in this other than to not use their product.
And many of the corporations don't even have to have your consent. They will take your data even if you do not agree.
If you don't like it you can't sue them.
You have to use their own arbitrator, which rules in favor of the corporation 99.9% of the time, so it's pointless to bring a case.
So worrying about 'government snooping' is completely old news, no longer the main concern.

I agree that we need such an investigation. should it include who shot Ashli and why? should it include all of the hidden video evidence? should it address why the capital cops escorted the people into the capital and did not try to stop them? should is identify the FBI agents who were encouraging the invasion of the capital? Yes, lets see all of the evidence. Not just what the dems want us to see.

What of it? The rally and planned march wasn't a secret. That it got so out of hand probably took everyone by surprise, the FBI included. There was no precedent for such violence at that place of all places.
