If you were assigned to protect people and a bunch of crazy assholes were attacking those people, what would you do? If you had the people protected by a barricade and one of the crazy assholes came over the barricade, what would you do? Betray your oath and duty by letting the crazy asshole attack the people you were assigned to protect?

The obvious question that is raised is this: if the Congress critters were being threatened to the point they were in mortal danger why was only one person shot? What were they waiting on?
But Lemmings aren’t curious about such things.
Especially if your house was the White House. A person with a backpack scaling the wall and running across the South Lawn would be dead in ten seconds.
At risk of enhancing the lunacy, the frame of reference of these folks are those who up until exactly this point are most contemptuous of the fourth amendment, the rights of accused and due process generally.

Took me about 2 seconds to see through this latest right wing propaganda twist.
They can no longer pretend it was antifa since nobody even remotely associated with antifa was on the hundreds and hundreds of those arrested for capitol violence and criminal trespass. The arrested have obvious ties to Trump support, so the 'blame antifa' thing didn't pan out.
That's why they are now blaming the FBI.
Pathetic.
Anything but admit the truth.
