I've yet to see a proposal that will lower my costs below what they are now.

If someone can't afford healthcare, look at it as an opportunity for you to personally provide it to them. You do realize that what you want can happen and the government isn't part of the process? That you want the government involved proves it's not about your caring but your desire the government control more aspects of your life.
