Renee Good's family sues Trump administration over fatal Minneapolis shooting

None of that is happening, you fucking idiot. Dyke wife gets zero dollars for getting her partner killed.
This is not making it to discovery. No.

You guys just can't keep the personal stuff out of it, can you. Got to call someone a fucking idiot, or something else, to make you happy. How sad.

Why shouldn't it happen? It is the law. If you file a suit you get discovery and subpeona power to investigate and find what you need to make your case. What is going to stop it? The only thing legal to stop it would be the court decided it has no jurisdiction or there is no case to start the investigation on based on qualified or other immunity.

The state, the defendant along with Ross, in this case has not yet been served [probably happen tomorrow] and they get to file there motions for summary dismissal. That is why I said IF the case is allowed to move forward. I do not see the court by passing the case and dismissing on defendants motions. Not unless they get precisely the right judge. The optics would look truly bad.

So, while not impossible, the case is probably allowed to proceed. Then the only way it goes away is the government throws a huge settlement at it, enough to make Good's people not care about making all of this public so that everyone knows exactly what is what. I hope they are strong enough to resist that kind of money and bring the case at least to the point that their lawyers investigatiors [which I did for a living, in part, after I retired from law enforcement] find out everything there is to know about this and makes it all public.

The law is if you try to run over the law, you may get dead. This case goes nowhere.

It hit him. The End.

It is a CIVIL lawsuit. It is not guilt beyond reasonable doubt. It is proof to a preponderance of the evidence. The case can go forward based on Ross being any percentage above zero culpable for the outcome that is a tort. That Ross, placing himself in front of that car, acted in a way outside law enforcement standard norms for that situation, did what he did makes this reviewable. The only way it doesn't move forward at this point is on defendants motions that something [most likely qualified immunity] places it outside the court's jurisdiction.

I don't see that happening, but with the right judge in a civil case one never knows for sure. Doesn't mean it won't be appealed if that happens though.

What, you some kind of retard that thinks if I'm not law enforcement I don't know the law?
STFU. How long have you been kicking your dog? :rolleyes2:
Brah, you have a lot of verbosity, and very little substantiality, if any.

Nope. Just someone giving extreme MAGA enough rope to indicate the truest personality of extreme MAGA.

You see, the case over Trump is resolved. At this point anyone with any DISCERNMENT, well attached to reality and of common sense, understanda that Trump is no one that should have been granted power. The numbers already show Trump's favorables declining steadily. The Repulbican Party's action in the mid-terms to Trump, "Please stay away from my campaign, you're toxic." shows it as well.

These side things, they will resolve themselves on the evidence that comes out or won't be resolved at all because that evidence is quashed.

What can be resolved, in the evidence presented here, is what is extreme MAGA (at least on this sight, but maybe indicating extreme MAGA on its whole). How far will it go? How uncivil is it willing to devolve itself to and how personal will it make attacks on those who disagree with them.

Is it just an inablity to DISCERN or does it go deeper, into ethics issues that suggest character problems.

Time will tell. The case unfolds.

Otay, give me some moar understanda, Repulbicans, "sight", and inablity, then start discerning why you can't fucking spell, bitch!
We are NOT the same.

Your need to "go there", to make it about things nonsubstantive, the need to become uncivil and make it personal, is my case about "extreme MAGA" and whether its a discernment issue our one of personality traits and personal ethics.

Thank you for helping me make it.

Why should anyone take your retarded ass rhetoric for anything of value?

Thank you for your time and consideration in helping me make the case I am trying to explore in this here. Your need to resort to things like "retarded ass rhetoric", even when I explained precisely what I was up to, proves you folks just can't help yourselves. Its engrained in you, which suggests it is a personality and ethics issue.

Let's see you make a case for your stuff being relevant.

That this is decided re:Trump in the White House becomes moot as Trump can't be in the White House two years from now AND the midterms may, and probably very well will, decide just how little Trump will be able to do with the two remaining years he has left in the Oval.

However, the "whys" of how Trump, a man so obviously devoid of any merit to be placed in a postion of great power, is relevant if we do not want that mistake [and it was a BIG mistake - and that has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with ETHICS] to happen again. That should be readily apparent to any DISCERNING person of common sense and sound ethical thinking. Which means it is probably something hardcore MAGA won't get or appreciate.

IOW: "Orange Man Bad! Wahh!"
Much verbosity, no substance with you.
I bet you're not smarter than 50% of "MAGA".
Prove it. Go to iqtest.com
use a disposable email address and screenshot your results.
Here's your free email site, in case you're too dumb to do that:

There are two counts. One is under the Federal Tort Claims Act for excessive use of force. That seems about as on point as you can get. Tho other is a Civil Rights claim which sounds more iffy. The agent can't reasonably claim he shot her in self defense since he shot her through a side window. He could claim, in the interest of truth, that he was highly pissed off at her and see how that goes.

Orange man is bad. Very bad. Which is obvious to anyone who cares to look into him. His long personal history, heavily documented because he has lived a very public life, attests to that. That MAGA chooses, and it is a choice, to deny that is part of extreme MAGA's problem.

I'd be the first to admit I am a bit verbose, and I can even be pompous. What I am not is devoid of substance. The issues I am discussing here go to the heart of why we are a devolving society, and that should be substantive to anyone living in it.

Not that you should care, but as an old fart who wants to keep his brain ticking I take IQ tests and other brain teaser stuff quite often. In those I.Q. tests I score consistently in the high 130's, which is a drop from the mid-140's I was tested at when I was school aged by the state mandated testing,

Why? So you can simply call them fake, which is exactly what you would do. When the uncivil called my service in law enforcement into question I went so far as to post a redacted photo of my department retirement ID and my retirement plaque with my various promotions, citations and medals upon it. I'll never make that mistake again, or anything else like it. You see, I can learn from my mistakes. What I am concerned about is whether MAGA is capable of doing the same.

Naw, let's see what you got, man. You talk the talk, let's see you walk the walk.
Or STFU.

She wasn't trying to run him over and Ross was by her SIDE window when he killed her. None of the shots come when he was standing in front of a vehicle.

I actually agree here. She was not deliberately trying to run him over. She wanted to get the hell out of Dodge so to speak. She likely didn't even really see him, just stomped on the gas and went to run away as fast as she could. The problem was, she did it after the ICE agents engaged and had detained--by their giving commands--to her.
Fleeing is not a reason to commit murder.
It is during what was turning into a potential felony traffic stop where the suspect becomes violent. In this case, the officer that fired likely thought he was going to get hit by the vehicle and defended himself.

It was all a tragic scenario that Renee Goode brought on herself by wanting to be edgy and egg on the ICE agents. Her 'partner' probably reinforced that along with Leftist stuff on social media and the internet. This was Goode's trainwreck start to finish. Going there and blocking the ICE agents in a 'Contempt of cop' scenario is not a brilliant idea, regardless of what you, or I, think of ICE as an agency.

You see, that is where you make your mistake. Thinking I am speaking to you. I am not. You're a foil I am using to see if I am right about my thoughts on extreme MAGA, and if so make that case to the assembled.

I am confident in that the preponderance of the evidence in following the collective you compared to myself will bare the case out, one way or the other, and believe that those reading along will do right by it. I trust them in their collective judgement on the matter.

Thank you once again. Every little bit helps.

Why, I didn't call extreme MAGA unintelligent. I suggested extreme MAGA was NON-DISCERNING and possibly unethical. That its issues lay in lack of common sense and civility. That they are examples of a devolving society.

Take a test that shows me you understand sound ethical thinking. The notion that you get Golden Rule, treat others the way you'd desired to be treated under like circumstances. That you know that disagreements do not require ad hominem attacks and you understand basic civility. That would be pertenant to the points I am attempting to make here.

Your I.Q. score is not germane to the topic I am placing forward for consideration by the assembled. However, the need to use foul language, to make things personal, to pick on things like spelling and typo errors rather than substance, to fail to acknowledge that which is readily seen in a well documented account of a very publicly lived life about someone you choose to give power to; that is all relevant to the points i am making.

And that extreme MAGA on this site give that back to what rope I lay out for them to do it with, on steroids, is quite telling. Even when I tell them precisely what I am doing and why.

You aren't going to believe this, but I do wish them all well. I am concerned about ALL of us and where this suggests it is all going. I feel for them, as part of the whole, though I do wish they would stop hurrying us along to getting to where this all bottoms out. Another massive twenty or so years of economic collapse and maybe even a world war, just as it did the last time around. We just can't seem to learn from past mistakes. People... right? Go figure.

Hey man, you're claiming to be smarter, let's see you prove it. :dunno:
You could have done it in the time it took to write that pusillanimous diatribe.
