Republicans have failed to refute any of Cohen’s allegations against Trump

The next best refutation of Cohen's testimony:

"What did you talk to Mr. Schiff about?"

Cohen: "I spoke to Mr. Schiff about topics that were going to be raised at the upcoming hearing."

"Woah. Not just what time to show up? Actually what you're going to talk about?"

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump former fixer and personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, appeared before Congress for testimony over crimes committed by the president.

During his testimony, Cohen made bombshell allegations about Trump, and Fox’s News Chris Wallace called out Republicans for failing to refute any of them.

Cohen detailed racist situations and behaviors from Trump, and also showed a signed check from the Trump Organization that was used in the hush money scandal for adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“They haven’t refuted his basic allegations against the president. And you say they’re doing the best they can. It may be that they don’t have any evidence to refute,” Wallace said. “To some degree, they can’t sit there and refute the checks to the degree that Cohen has said things, and it’s just basically his word. All they have is the president has denied that.

He added, “They haven’t done anything to really say, basic allegations about the president, they’ve done a lot to shake his credibility. In terms of the allegations, they haven’t defended it. Is there anything out there that the White House could have given them to defend against the claims that Michael Cohen is making?”

Cohen's testimony about the SDNY's red hot investigation was super bad news for comrade Trump...........and Mueller has noting at all to do with it

Cohen HAD to discuss what topics could be raised at the hearing. He is prevented from discussing certain things concerning ongoing criminal investigations. How do you think the committee was able to say only certain things could be discussed?

I know equally that Mueller has no evidence that would enable him to get an criminal indictment against Trump, his family or his business because he would have absolutely no reason to wait months and months and months to file the indictment.........

So you think that the people shouting, "Lock her up!" are idiots because you know equally that if there was evidence to bring a criminal indictment against the Clintons no one would have waited years and years to file an indictment.

“Giving a platform to Mr. Cohen is beneath the dignity of the Congress and I am saddened that Democrats have sunk so low as to promote an admitted liar just to satisfy Tom Steyer and the political forces on the left who will settle for nothing less than impeachment,”

“When we legitimize dishonesty, we delegitimize this institution," Jordan said.

“Now you’re behaving just like everyone else who got fired or didn’t get the job they wanted,” said Jordan.

“That’s the point isn’t it, Mr Cohen? You wanted to work at the White House. You didn’t get brought to the dance.”

“Here’s what I see,” he said. “I see a guy who worked for 10 years in here trashing the guy he worked for … didn’t get a job in the White House and now you’re behaving just like everyone else who has got fired or didn’t get the job they wanted … same kind of selfish motivation after you don’t get the things you want.”

“You said all these bad things about the president in the last 30 minutes, yet you worked for him for 10 years. If it’s that bad, I can see you working for him for 10 days, 10 weeks, maybe 10 months. But you worked for him for 10 years,” Jordan said Wednesday.

“When you failed to pay $1.4 million in taxes—I got constituents who don’t make that in a lifetime—was that out of some blind loyalty?” Jordan asked.
“No, I did not,” Cohen said.

Cohen made himself useless to any further "investigation" his mouth once again opened up,
a disgruntled, angry, bitter convicted felon that lied to anyone that would listen is not a very good witness against his target of aggression

US courts are a wonderful thing

Cohen's consciousness of wrongdoing is fleeting. His remorse is minimal. His instinct is to blame others is - to blame others is wrong. There's only thing - one wrong with that statement. His remorse is nonexistent. He just debated a member of Congress, saying, I really didn't do anything wrong with the false bank things that I'm guilty of, I'm going to prison for.

“We just had a five-minute debate where Mr. Cohen disputes what the Southern District of New York found,” Jordan exclaimed. “The judge found that he was actually guilty of committing bank fraud.”

“His remorse is nonexistent!” Jordan continued. “He just debated a member of Congress, saying, I really didn’t do anything wrong with the false bank things that I’m guilty of and going to prison for.”

The best exchange of the day:

You filed a false tax return for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. Was all that out of blind loyalty to the President?
Cohen: "no it was not."

"When you failed to report $4 million in income to the Internal Revenue Service, did you do that to Protect Donald Trump?"
Cohen: "no I did not."

"And when you failed to pay $1.4 million in taxes to the US treasury, was that out of some blind loyalty to the President of the United States?"
Cohen: "no it was not."

"When you made false statements to financial institutions concerning a home equity line of credit, taxi medallions, and a Park Avenue Apartment, was that all done to Protect the President?"
Cohen: "no it was not."

"The point is Mr. Cohen, did you lie to protect the President, or did you lie to protect yourself? "
Cohen: "i'm not sure what is the point of that question."

Was Adam Schiff on the committee you poor, pathetic, low IQ dumb fuck?

Cummings turned these hearings into a shit show. But, the dishonest, corrupt and repugnant Democrats got the FAKE media headlines they were hoping for. Unfortunately, it was a massive NOTHING BURGER. Would you like some fries with that snowflake?

Adam Schiff is head of the committee interviewing him today in executive session. They will be under the same ground rules put in place for the other 2 committees.

Cohen did nothing but bloviate his OPINIONS, get his ass kicked by Republicans on his corrupt felonious behavior and lying. The other thing Cohen did was illustrate how pathetic and desperate the Party of the Jackass is becoming as the Mueller investigation exposes them for corrupt, UN-American liars.

He's perfect for you guys.

You need to get with what's happening instead of living with your head in the sand. The republicans did a terrible job interviewing Cohen. It was a true disaster. They were not prepared, they were not motivated, and not once did they even try to defend trump from Cohen's charges.
If you want to delve into liars just look at trump and again in the mirror.
