I don't vote Republican unless that person resonates with me. But yeah I support the Democratic Party in general. I am a liberal, not a "lefty". I chose my moniker because people in forums keep accusing me of being a lefty so it stuck.

he created no situation. that would be the mostly peaceful firestarters. He was a man that cared about his community, dispensed medical aid, scrubbed graffiti, and put out fires. Leftists, being pussies, don't understand people like kyle that take initiative for the good of their town. When you have maurauding violent serial child rapists around, it might be a good idea to have a gun. Kyle started NOTHING. He acted entirely appropriately within the law. He initiated no conflict, and no matter how much you don't like it, americans have a constitutional right to bear arms.

That's painting too rosy a picture.

I think the jury gave the correct verdict, but walking into a situation like that w/ a weapon like that was just lighting a powder keg. I support the right to bear arms. I think people with zero crowd control or crisis experience shouldn't have a weapon like that in a situation like the one we saw, where emotions are running high.

that's like saying a woman wearing clothes deserves to be raped. Carrying a gun does not give people license to attack the gun carrier. Kyle had perfect crowd control, he killed/injured those attacking him while harming no one else.

That's a poor analogy.

The 1st guy shouldn't have gone after him. After that, it's a free for all. If someone is in the crowd and all they see is someone shooting, what are they supposed to think? They're supposed to assume he's acting in self defense?
