They can argue that all they want but unless they have *evidence* to back up the claim Justice Roberts will dismiss it.

This is going to be an actual trial, Frankie. No more malarkey and baseless speculation about Trump’s motives and etc.

Nobody has to argue anything anymore. It's scalp collecting time. All that matters is votes. We did all we could do. The impeachment adopting the articles by the full house for delivery to the senate is fait accompli next week.
The senate sham trial I won't even watch.

I will watch the vote in the early spring or late winter, and publish a list EVERY DAY, of all who opposed impeaching this obvious traitor in chief.

I am a citizen of the United States of America. If you do not vote to impeach this criminal clown, you are a traitor, no ifs ands or buts.
The choice is as clear and inarguable as an enlightened brain arguing against a sadistic immoveable object can make it using pathos, ethos and logos.
It's head count time and votes in November. Nothing....else....matters....

The last thing in the world this will be is AN ACTUAL TRIAL.

I will be a farce...played out on the Senate floor.

They will acquit a person who belongs in prison or an asylum. And they will be doing it because they care more about their chances in their next election (or jobs after retirement)...rather than they care about our nation or its Constitution.

Continue to support them.

Maybe some day you will develop a bit of self-esteem and regret what you are today.

Zelensky claimed, twice, that he felt no pressure and; in fact, claimed to not be aware of any extortion or whatever democrats are calling it. You better hope it’s not an actual trial because an extortion charge where the alleged victim was unaware they were being extorted would get thrown out of anything but a kangaroo court.

Maybe even laughed out.

Votes in November don't really matter if he's still in office.

The republicans are plotting to cheat in the upcoming election in November just as they did in the last one.

If he's not removed from office he will win re-election.

The extortion was denial of military aid and a show of access to the president of the United States (a meeting in the Oval Office)...unless some things that benefited Donald Trump were done.

There is no way Zelensky was going to say, "Yes, I felt threatened"...because he needed the aid and good will of his extortioner.

If you refuse to see that, Darth, not much can be done.
