What kind of absurd question is that? Many, if not most women will give accurate account. Pity on those who lie and turn this process into a farce and make it harder for actual victims to be believed.
I can't really speak for these women, why they came forward, what their motivation is. Truth has a way of coming out, eventually.
As for TV networks, they have to please their viewers and keep their ratings up. Nothing new here.
