I am pro decency and pro truth, which in this case leads to the conclusion that Ukraine is the death rattle of the West.

That’s very commendable and all.
The maximum conscription age for Americans during the height of the Vietnam war was 25.
But for Russia it’s now 30 to 70? FFS, Ukraine isn’t that desperate.
But Ukraine has no problem getting volunteers, even women.

Not 70. My understanding is that they raised the age of mandatory retirement along with raising the maximum age of conscription to 30.
