Russiagate is bullshit, has always been bullshit, and will continue to be bullshit.

I am on record saying I am willing to keep an open mind.

Let me hear your plausible theory for why Trump's staff, Trump's campaign, and Trump himself have been relentlessly lying about the scope and nature of their contacts with Russian nationals and Russian operatives.

First off Manafort was not contacting Kilimnik is a Russian/Ukrainian political consultant with anything to do with Russian intelligence - it was all about the Ukraine elections.

secondly Page and Popadopolis made exculpatory statements to the FBI that were omitted in the FISA ap.
that's a gross violation of FISC protocol https://thehill.com/opinion/white-h...nce-that-fbi-likely-withheld-in-russian-probe

whom else? Flynn's contacts with Russian ambassador Kislyak were normal duties for an incoming NSC Advisor

none of these were ever shown to be corrupt, and nothing was prosecuted by Mueller other then lying about
it to Mueller (process crimes)

is there anyone else? let me know and i'll respond.

PS I give you much credit for looking at this with an open mind!

ALTHEA is brain dead. He' sees Russians in his cornflakes.

why would Trump fire manafort after only 1 month if Manafort was the Trump/Putin "connection"
when this pans out -he's be yelling Putin owns Trump because of money laundering.

The dude is completely unhinged with TDS

All the intel agencies must eat the same cornflakes. Manafort was head of Trump's campaign for 5 months. He resigned , not fired.. Other than that, you have it right.

He was campaign manager from June 20th till August 19th. Trump accepted Manafort's resignation = he was fired

Wow.you are crazed. He worked for the campaign for 5 months. Was head for the most important 3 months, right up to the convention. Don't hand wave away a guy who was HEAD of the campaign,. That is a big job. And Manafort was the one who got tthe Serbian/Russian break into the platform. .

That was UKRAINE not "Serbian". and that story about softening the plat form was debunked.

I see a lot of assertion, opinion, and links to opinion columns here.

What I do not see is a plausible explanation for why Trump and people around him have lied, and lied relentlessly, about the nature, number, and scope contacts with Russians and Russian operatives.

Adoptions? Really?

you'd have to ask Flynn. recall the agents that interviewed him thought he was truthful 6 month later the 302 was"updated" ( unheard of time frame) and Mueller decided he lied.
But in no way was he charged with anything to do with Russian contacts.

same with Manafort. same with Page and Papadopolis ( papadopolis got 14 days for some minor infraction).

Recall Popadopolis and Page were in Russia on normal business relations-you should be asking why he was FISA'd
when he was just finished being a witness FOR the FBI and the NY Russian business.
Cohen never went to Prague

There are so many crimes, and Trump hires so many criminals, lets just focus on the Russia angle.

I see no plausible explanation for why it was necessary for Trump and his sons to blatantly lie about the Trump tower meeting, lie about the scope and nature of their economic interest in Russia, or why Trump was begging Russian state security to hack the computers of his American political opponents.

I doubt your life experience is vastly different than mine - I have found when people are lying, and lying relentlessly, they are trying to hide something or to obscure the truth.

He said such an act is "potentially dangerous," particularly for ongoing investigations.
it would normally be so, but because we have what is essentially a bureaucratic coup -transparency is called for.
The new testimony releases support Nunes.

Bates also noted that FISC has been "pretty silent" on the Page controversy, which he attributed to "reticence" to comment on any matter that is arguably partisan and political.
incorrect. FISC did "comment" it said Congress can release anything it wants.

But it does bring up some serious questions https://thehill.com/opinion/white-h...deafening-quietude-of-the-fisa-court-and-john

we have Cohen testimony that Trump Towers negotiations continued till June 2016 -not ended by Jan 2016 -is there any supporting evidence?
Because taking anything Cohen says as truth is ludicrous.

The important take away from Trump Tower is there was no acceptance (conspiracy) - and if you are going to make the case taking opposition research from da Russians is bad by itself, you have to address the point Clinton campaign
( thru a law firm to hide the payments) paid for the Steele dossier.

Trump was campaigning when he said "IF you have the Emails Russia -please release them"
so put in in context of campaign rhetoric -which is all it was.

The charge that Stone was contacting Wiki may or may not be true - but the "heads up"he gave TrumpCo. was already public knowledge -Assange said he was going to release ( i forget the wording)

Cohen has documents and tapes. You keep forgetting that.

that's what i was asking..and in regards to what?
So maybe you have TrumpCo lying about Trump Tower negotiations. Is that "it". talk about a nothing burger!!
I’m waiting for the Mueller investigation report. It seems the actors were trying to cover something up. Rick Gates is still cooperating! He was kept on after all the others were fired, it seems he still has a lot to share.

I laugh at your continued desperate appeal that this is a nothing burger!

reminds me of the song "high hopes" -whatever gets you thru.
now you're reduced to hoping for Gates when every other "this is it" wasn't it
