Artesia?
Okay

Seriously, there's been attacks on oil refineries worldwide and I just can't see any 1 country having the motivation or means to do it.

Not sabotage, aging infrastructure and deferred maintenance.

Interesting stuff. Thanks.

I don't see any attacks in any of these events.

I have already addressed other U.S. refinery events. No sabotage.

The Artesia event involves a refinery owned by the Navajo nation. It was caused by a welding accident. The welding was taking place on a tank partially filled with tar. Volatile components ignited and the tank blew up. 2 killed, and 1 injury...the welder, who miraculously survived (although seriously injured).

No evidence of sabotage.

They got Australia, too.
This refinery is an old one, and suffered a gas leak. A nearby fire vent ignited it. The resulting fire took awhile to put out, and as it spread, cause some other tanks and equipment to explode. Although the damage from the fire was extensive, the rest of the refinery is still producing oil products while the damaged equipment is being repaired.

No evidence of sabotage.

I have already address the other refineries in this list. I will now address the Moscow event.

This refinery was hit with a Russian missile, intended for flight to the Ukraine. It was the result of friendly fire.
The missile hit a tank and caused it to explode.

Wups.

This oil refinery did indeed get attacked by drones from Iran. The damage was fairly minimal, shutting down part of the refinery. The rest continue in operation. Anti-aircraft systems were improved to prevent a recurrence. This also helps prevents attacks against the oil pipeline from succeeding as well.

Artesia is a small town in southern New Mexico, near Carlsbad, heavily envolved in oil production.

I know one of the three families with people injured in the fire. Federal investigators are on the scene. Nobody is talking about the incident at all. There is a very heavy air of intimidation and silence about the subject.

The air in Artesia is awful, smells like skunks all the time, due to the ground weeping up oil and sulfur sludge. There are oil pumps all over the town. When you open a kitchen spigot, it coughs out bubbles of black slim, and the fumes coming out of the facet will burn with a lighter. You MUST drink bottled water.

Despite the oil wealth, 90%+ of the residents of Artisia are well below the poverty level in income.

I was driving through late at night last early spring, and it was snowing tiny flakes, plus the blowing ultra-fine sands from the mesa, and the clouds were low overhead, about 200ft up. The flare from the burn-off stacks from the summation tank farms were lighting the underside of the clouds, and the blowing snow and dust. Visability was about 30 yards most of the time. But occasionally, the winds would blow the scene clear, and you could see the red flame light reflecting off the nearby desert bluffs and dunes. Red glare from above, Red Glare from the burn-off flares, Red Glare from the Dunes... It was like a vision of Hell.

There were dead Boars lying on the roadside in that 20 mile strech, having be shot in the head by state police. I guess a fatal attack on a toddler started the kill-off.
