Saxony-Anhalt, Germany State election 2026 (Landtagswahl in Sachsen-Anhalt) — Live Results

Far-right AfD wins key German state election but may fail to secure majority

The populist, far-right, anti-immigration Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) has emerged as the winner in a crucial state election in Germany, exit polls have projected, securing a historic result and more than doubling its support. The AfD now appear on the brink of becoming the first far-right party to gain power in Germany at state level since the second world war.

Initial exit polls showed the party to have secured 44.4% of the vote, a larger share than predicted, and decisively larger than that of the Christian Democrats (CDU) of the chancellor, Friedrich Merz, in a contest that was being followed across the world. However, it still remains unclear as to how and whether the AfD will be able to form a government, having ruled out entering a coalition and being refused any form of cooperation by the mainstream parties.

I am pretty surprised that the Epstein Class allowed this result to happen, that they did not rig the election and did not criminalize the party. This indicates to me that they know there are limits to the corruption and fraud that they can get away with at the moment, as the masses have not yet been enslaved.

Of course there was an election that was cancelled after the fact because the people voted the wrong way.....Romania?

They stated more than once it is shameful to teach about the holocaust in german schooils,
Their reasoning is that Germany has become one of the most favorable European countries for Jews to live in and has been for decades.
Even when I lived in Bavaria 30 years ago I got the impression they were getting sick of apologizing for a regime they had nothing to do with. It’s gotten old.

look it up dummy
I don’t have to. I forgot more about German culture than you ever learned. My in-laws are in Sachsen from where I just returned and where I visit every year at least once.
The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party routinely challenges Germany's post-war consensus on Holocaust remembrance, with top figures downplaying Nazi crimes and criticizing the country's national atonement.
What do you care? You’re pro Hamas, so there’s that.

Now WTF does the “Epstein class”, whatever that is, have to do with the Sachsen-Anhalt election?

There has been a lot of consideration of criminalizing the party, but the Epstein Class decided that they could not get away with it.

If they get too far out of line the world can make Germany rubble and dresden like again, scratch a right-wing a kraut get a barbarian savage

Key Positions and Controversies
    • "Monument of Shame": Prominent AfD leader Björn Höcke famously referred to the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin as a "monument of shame" in 2017, arguing that Germany should take a 180-degree turn in how it addresses its past.
    • Rejection of Historical Guilt: National co-leader Alice Weidel and other party members have dismissed Germany's structured remembrance culture as a "guilt cult" (Schuldkult), arguing instead for a forward-looking national pride.
    • Minimizing the Nazi Era: Figures like Alexander Gauland have famously downplayed the Nazi period as a mere "speck of bird poop in over 1,000 years of successful German history."
    • Legal Consequences: Björn Höcke was convicted and fined by German courts for knowingly using banned Nazi slogans, such as "Everything for Germany" (Alles für Deutschland).

German exit polls suggest far-right party has big lead in regional election

BERLIN — Germany's far-right, anti-immigrant Alternative für Deutschland, or Alternative for Germany, (AfD) has won the most votes in the closely watched regional election in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt according to exit polls.

Projections show the party is comfortably ahead of Chancellor Friedrich Merz's conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU), but it remains unclear whether the AfD will win enough seats to secure a majority in the state parliament.

How will that affect funding for those like you, in Hamas? Germany is a major source of aid for you Muslim Supremacists.

What do the American democrats have to do with German elections? Obviously democrats support Islamists - but don't have much influence over German voters.

Looks like you of the CCP didn't have much influence, either.

Hamas is a resistance org.....they are resisting abuse.....they are righteous.

They are also a quality government....better quality than what Americans get.
