All the rules and laws that have formed how we do things in this country have been utterly violated and disregarded with impunity from the beginning of the left's very first anti-Trump hoax. This week is no different. This time, Democrats are trampling the rule of law by pressuring phone companies to illegally give them phone records of their opponents and their conversations with their attorneys (attorney-client privilege? Out the window. Based on what? Triggered Democrat feelings) without an individual’s agreement...which is a major federal crime. But there are two sets of criminal justice systems in this country now that Obama has corrupted and politicized literally every part of the federal government, so nothing will be done about this either. Apparently, self-righteous delusions of moral superiority negate the need for anyone to follow the law.

"Federal law bars phone carriers from handing over records without an individual’s agreement. The statute makes some exceptions, including for federal and state law-enforcement agencies [but not for Congress or partisan vendettas]."

Obtaining phone logs of political rivals is a stunning abuse of congressional power

In Smith v. Maryland, 442 U.S. 735 (1979), the court said Americans did not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the information showing who they spoke to on the telephone because the phone company possessed that information. With no reasonable expectation of privacy in that information...

Fun that a whore like you can't cite a single illegal thing that Schiff or the dems did, nor any 'abuses'.

Perfectly legal subpoena, but yet again you're too cum-drunk to notice.

Pweeze stawp cwying.

A lawless witch hunt, that sounds like Gestapo Chief Bill Barr's vindictive investigations.

I placed the OP on ignore because his/her threads were becoming way too obnoxiously and blatantly paid troll propaganda alternate reality territory.

Good suggestion. I'll add her to the multitude already on my list.

Good reason to steer clear of Facebook as well...just sayin'. Have you noticed that the most obnoxious posters fill up their page with graphics that make scrolling down to get past their posts too time consuming? That's a deal breaker for me. It's like you are being forced to stay in their ass-backwards realm for longer than anyone should have to endure.

Rosen generated headlines in 2013 after it was revealed the Obama Justice Department spied on him extensively three years earlier as part of a probe into documents leaked to the media.

It's literally time to start stringing these motherfuckers up. Hang them publicly on the National Mall.

Hey Idiot, Schiff is working within his legal boundaries to acquire whatever he needs to carry out the investigation.

There is no attorney/client privilege or Executive privilege when Giulianni is dialing up the White House Budget Director using his cell phone..

Giulianni is just wreckless and clueless and has gotten himself involved and other White House officials in some serious illegal shit!

But GO AHEAD AND CRY US A RIVER!

I would use a reliable media source with legal people on staff- instead of watching FAUX news IDIOTS- If I were one of you trump loving idiots!

Rightys should try and make sense. You do not have to prove the case to ask for evidence. Phone calls and messages are commonly provided in investigations. It is part of the investigative process. Trump is not getting the special above the law treatment that he thinks he deserves.

You must be Sailor's crack smoking buddy, and it appears that you've been over doing it, lately; being the shithead that you are.

I have noticed that. Grok, anyone?

Problems with this:

1) Schiff's unprecedented abuse of power violates current, existing federal law, which wouldn't exist if the ruling you're referring to were that simple.

2) Smith v. Maryland was about targeting one person's phone once significant probable cause had already been established, and there was threat to life and limb. Apples and oranges.

3) Schiff is not law enforcement. He's just a corrupt partisan tyrant and pathological liar committing unparalleled abuses of impeachment powers.

4) Rulings AFTER the one you're citing went completely the opposite direction...Florida v. Jardines (2012), Kyllo v. United States (2001), U.S. v. Jones (2004).

What are you twelve?

Your infantile posturing aside, arbitrarily assuming that there are no examples of Schiff abusing his powers is stupid (even for you) for multiple reasons:

1) It shows zero concern for the truth.

2) This thread IS an example of such an abuse.

3) The impeachment hearings themselves ARE another such abuse (as are the attacks on attorney-client privilege, the right to face your accuser, the right to know the evidence against you, etc.). Trump asking for an investigation of Biden's well-established corruption is not worse than Biden BEING corrupt. That doesn't even make sense. It's not illegal, not impeachable, and not even controversial. It's literally required under the law to verify that taxpayer funds are not going to corrupt governments.

4) No one said the violations were all from Schiff. This witch hunt was launched before Trump was even elected and has been going on for three years now. There are far more criminals involved here beyond Schiff. Learn how to read.

5) Democrats cry at every turn over imaginary violations of the law by Trump, which they continuously get proven to be lying about. Their response when anyone points out actual, verifiable, historic crimes and abuses of power? "Stop crying."

You can't make up this level of self-unawareness and hypocrisy. :rofl2:

What's it like being wrong on literally every point you make?

Yes, investigating DNC-funded propaganda being deliberately misrepresented to a federal judge as legitimate intelligence to enable illegal spying on a presidential candidate and the overthrow of "our democracy" (a thousand times worse than Watergate)...that's the REAL lawless partisan witch hunt.

Three years of outrageously phony and illegal witch hunts, and the moment anyone investigates ACTUAL, PROVABLE DEMOCRAT crimes...you fall to the floor in fetal position and pretend to be a victim.

:rofl2:
