SCOTUS tells Trump to take a hike

Supreme Court Rejects Trump Administration Request to Intervene in California Ballot Case

The court’s ruling came just hours after administration lawyers asked the justices to immediately order California to set aside 20,000 mail-in ballots.

The Supreme Court on Monday evening swiftly rejected a request by the Trump administration to require that California set aside 20,000 mail-in ballots that the administration claims have been provided to noncitizens.

The order, which was unsigned and gave no reasoning, came the same day that the administration lawyers had asked the court to step in after a divided federal appeals court had rejected the administration’s arguments that California officials should impound the ballots for further scrutiny. No public dissents were noted.

The ruling appeared to be an extraordinary rebuke of the Trump administration, sending a message that the court was not interested in stepping in to assist President Trump’s efforts to interfere with how states are administering elections.

Take heart everyone

The nations best lawyers are not out of steam yet

They have been planning together for months to find any corner the Trump slime will try to ooze into to harm our elections

They all have copies of the project 2025 and beyond

And they are far more intelligent than these violent racist cult dupes

Marc Elias is on FIRE!

My thing is that the SCOTUS has gone right to the wire in turning this country into an authoritarian state for presidents. Trump and company get an inch and want to the mile, but SCOTUS members don't want their names to go down in history as enablers to wholly gutting the Constitution.

The size of the SCOTUS has changed before

Quit trying to pretend it’s some impassable barrier
Yes.

And historically it always added seats as more circuit courts were added so each Justice would just sit over one court. Now they are pushing too many cases to the shadow docket saying they are over worked.

There are 13 circuit courts now so 4 more justices should be added to balance it back.

No summary?
There's no summary because there was no "decision" other than "Denied". The Supreme Court simply rejected the request for injunctive relief. That's all. Simply rejected, no explanation, no verbiage, just "No".
