They’d be foolish to call any of them. All Nancy has to say is she left the decisions on manning the Capitol to the Capitol police whom she totally trusted and just keep repeating that claim.

If they were to go route, it won’t be long thereafter, they reconvene to largely just vote, and can conduct business otherwise

It’s not a lie, why wouldn’t she trust the Capitol police before Jan. 6? They never was a problem before that date.

It’s all a bluff for Fox, they’ll settle, agree, on three or four, and try to show it was the preparation for the day which was the cause for the violence that day, not Trump, a deflection, but what else do they have, what witness can they call that will validate it wasn’t Trump’s doing

Precisely and Pelosi has already addressed the issue of security, they better think twice about calling her. It will make them look stupid.

He’s throwing darts at the wall, Pelosi could offer nothing that would allow them to deflect off of Trump, even in terms of preparation, she doesn’t handle the security detail for DC or the Capitol

Trump gleefully watched the capitol rioters that he sent there, and was pleased by the threats and damage. He should be subpoenaed. Watching Trump testify would be great TV.

Yeah, I'm not sure what Stretch is celebrating. This is not going to go well for the Republicans. van der Veen couldn't even lawyer/poker face his reaction on the Senate floor. He is in so far over his head, I wouldn't be surprised if he drowned overnight.

What does he think he's going to get out of Pelosi and Harris? I feel like he was just saying names as they popped into his head.

They should subpoena Trump. Just for the theatre of it. He could either show up -- and we know how that would go -- or he could ignore the subpoena and get handcuffed by Capitol police at Mar-a-Lago. :laugh:
