Specifically; how was Garland treated unethically? Was he called a rapist? Was his reputation dragged through the mud of innuendo? Good question. I'd say the odds are good. What could upset the apple cart is that there are four moderate female GOP Senators who's bids for re-election (when they occur) could be seriously damaged if Kavanaugh is seated. They could decide to oppose the party heirarchy cause what good is siding with your party if you get unseated? So that's a possibility but I'd say the odds are against that happening.
So then it boils down to would seating Kav be a public relations disaster for the GOP in the upcoming midterms. So it could boil down to dropping Kav to save the House and the Senate.
So these guys aren't stupid. They'll wait till they see polling results before they make any decisions and if todays three ring circus does turn out to be a big PR disaster for the GOP then Kav could get dropped.
I think his blowing up at the Senate today and expressing his anger was a serious mistake on his part. He's a professional Jurist. He's supposed to have an unimpeachable temperment.
Having said that I think he'll be seated and Democrats will be crushed and cry great big crockadile tears which Grind will drink with great pleasure. LOL
I won’t be crying, I know they have to vote for this guy for their base and for liberal tears.
