I think there are far-reaching consequences to electing & celebrating morally compromised individuals. POTUS is more than just a simple executive position.

Now, "suckers and losers." I really never thought I'd see the day when a CIC could say something like that, and actually have people defend him.

I voted for Clinton, but when the Monica story broke, and we started hearing stories like Kathleen Wiley's, I was done. I don't care how effective someone is at running the country. POTUS is a position that sets an example for our whole populace & even the world.

We need to set the bar higher. America is a great country. It deserves great leaders.

But I also 100% understand why someone would want to stay anonymous when criticizing Trump.

And when I read the story, there wasn't even one iota of "hmmmm...that doesn't sound like him." It's just another story about something completely outrageous he said, which he does say. It sounded exactly like something he would say.

And it's much more than just an "extension" of the Choice program enacted under President Obama. That program was temporary, narrow and incomplete, while the MISSION Act is permanent and will put a much broader group of veterans in the driver's seat when it comes to their health.

The truth of what he said is the truth of what he said. Again - it's not at all inconsistent w/ previous statements, or his m.o.

Trump has disdain for the military. He does think that those who didn't get out of Vietnam like he did are suckers - I don't doubt that at all. He has shown us who he is many times.
