A federal judge on Wednesday ordered that the writer E. Jean Carroll should promptly receive a $5 million jury award, days after the Supreme Court rejected an appeal by President Trump and despite his last-minute attempt to get the justices to reconsider.

In a two-page order, Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of Manhattan federal court cited the Supreme Court’s June 29 order denying Mr. Trump’s request that the justices review the matter. That cleared the way for the funds, which Mr. Trump had deposited with the court, to be released to Ms. Carroll.

I’d expect it to be HUGE.

Some would go to see if there were any celebrities' from his TV days.

Some would go to try and revive their faded celebrity status.

Some would go to wail in grief at the perceived lost opportunities for their country / TV asperations / business plans / payment claims.

Some would go to see if they could souvenir loose fillings or jewelry. (He won’t miss it…)

Some would go to drive a stake through his heart (or a close approximation of that area of his chest…)

Some would go simply because spitting on a picture isn’t as satisfying.

Some would even go just to say a final goodbye.

I’d expect his family to also be there, but I’m not sure which group they’d each be part of…
