Should the republicans be held responsible for all the costs of the jan 6 riots , Yes I think they should , its only a few million and those democrats should be held responsible for the costs from the blm antifa riots should only be a few billions dollars .Seems fair to me .

Anyone who had the loss of a loved one, or was injured, or suffered a business loss, or loss of private property, in any way as a result of any violent act, should always file a proper lawsuit and seek restitution FROM THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND CONVICTED FOR CARRYING OUT SUCH CRIMES.

All the riots happended the jan 6 riot resulted in perhaps a few million in damages the blm riots resupted in billions in damages 58 deaths thousands 8njured and assulted

Is that true even where government refuses to charge and prosecute those who have probable cause to be arrested, charged, and prosecuted?

Another case of Trumpers playing with themselves. BLM activists aren’t Democrats and their unlawful conduct isn’t condoned by Democrats.
The Capitol assault by contrast was orchestrated and executed by Trump Republicans and is being whitewashed and even defended by Republicans in general. .

Some 5,000 persons were arrested during the BLM protests. Most were people snared in roundups against whom no charges involving violent or destructive conduct were made. These were the protestors eventually released. The looting and burning wasn't exactly overlooked. It was widely and graphically reported by the so called liberal press which is why we all know about it. Racial tensions in the involved cities were at danger points in those days and nights, as has happened in the past in this country with disastrous consequences, and officials had to be mindful of them as they felt their way forward, all of which may be over your head, but there it is.

And no one compared it to a "tourist event".
