Deciding to go back whence I came or stay on this volcanic rock. I enjoy the traveling I've done, but I wouldn't mind settling down a bit more. There is no place like home...there is no place like home...

I've lived in towns and cities that are known for some of the best beaches in the world and yet a certain emerald in the wild calls to me. Something mythical about it. I have never lived more than 10 miles from the beach in any of the several towns and cities I've lived in, well, there was that one time when my () was finishing her masters.

What bothers me about the first chart from over the pond, is that I don't think 4 people qualify as a "mass shooting". We are making words meaningless in America.

Also, more apple pie has been eaten than shootings, so you suck.

Just because they are so common in Chicago, does not mean they are just as likely to happen anywhere in America. See small coastal towns in California. See NY for instance, nothing compares to Chicago which has one of, if not the most strict gun laws in the entire country.

How is that working out for you sardines?
